I keep good records of what I purchase games for. I just don't remember when it comes time to make the video. Maybe I should start writing it down on post it notes and have them on the back so I can say what I paid for them when I'm presenting the game to the camera. I'm actually missing the manual for StarFox Adventures in this copy so I'm on the lookout for one myself. Thanks for the words about Matt, I think a lot of people will miss him too. I'm hoping sooner than later for getting the resurfacer. I may end up charging more than a dollar a disc. I have a normal 9-5 which I use some of that money to fund the collection. A future goal as I continue to buy is to make my money back so the collection is free. It's a lofty goal but should be fun. When I'm out on the hunt, I buy sealed board games and other items I can resell to further the collection along. I have a eBay account and also sell on Amazon. I don't advertise those at all in any of my videos. My main goal is to have fun and add to the collection. Thanks for stopping by. I do play games but I add way too many to the collection to keep up. Retirement is when I'll probably get to a lot of the backlog which is many years away.

Some are. Some of them are, one sealed game and one open to be able to play.

Most of my previous shelving units are still being used. The shelves that are not being reused were not straight so they will not be used again. There is only one unit that is stored away and not being used.

I have not paid retail on any of the retro games. Any current modern games I try to buy on clearance or sale.

I’ve seen far too many Reddit posts of collections getting destroyed for me to be comfortable having a basement collection. Wether a full on flood, or even the possibility of mold etc. just not something I would risk especially with the size of the collection in the video.

Thanks. I’ve been a gamer my whole life and an active collector for the last seven years. I haven’t really thought about changing the floor. I’ve been working on the shelves lately. Maybe in the future.

Multiples can be different situations, variants for one, one open, one sealed is another. Like I said earlier, more in depth videos are coming this winter.

Yes, I have a dehumidifier that I run during the warm months. The furnace during the winter gets the whole house pretty dry.

Yeah the Wii games really took up a lot of the new space. I freed up space where my GameCube games were along with the SNES and N64 games. Now all my Nintendo consoles are all together on one wall.

I have so many discs that I need to get resurfaced. I am going to advertise disc resurfacing services as well. I already have a local record store that would be interested in using my services too.
