Ironically, virtually every glc train in traverse city these days has two engines and only a few cars. This unusually long train had one engine. Weird...

Cool! Back in March 2001 when me and my family were heading home from a family vacation at Disney World, we flew on a CO 757-200 from MCO - IAH, taking off from runway 36R. Only main differences was our aircraft didn't have any winglets and due to the area having lots of rain prior to and during departure, the take off roll rather "fish tailed" during the take off run until we got airborne.

The road crews every place need more acknowledgement. (locals dropping off hot bisquits, corn muffins or beer (1) I'll just say, Once I dug my 2.5 car length drive way out and standing there at the end of my drive. Geting some of that nice cold air in to my lungs, lookinng left and I a plow two houses up at an intersection, Just idleing facing me. I looked left, I looked right, I looked left, I looked right, I looked left and faced him for sieiously 30 secondswith my shovel planted. I kept my shovel out like VICTORY LOL He caved, came on and plowed it again BUT WENT WiDE left, right in front of me. LOL .................LOL onne small victory..........

I remember the day when TSBY and C&O railroad picked up and delivered a great deal on the south side of Traverse City extending to Interlochen. Only customer left now is Beacon Recycling. So sad. Grew up in TC in the 60s...
