    I m currently preparing for my NAVLE I have done 100% of my vet prep and am focusing on my weak spots I am scoring 32-38 out of 50 in self assessment sections I am really Scared and Thinking if what I have done is enough as it was hard for me to pay for it and that is why I am giving it 2 years after I graduated Vet School from India Kindly suggest ways to improve as I am skipping to answers quickly causing questions to go wrong My exam is on the 15th of April 🙏

    In countries following the french system. You go to Agriculture school after High School, all students go to a common 1st year than top students of the 1st year chose specific fields. The most desired one is Vet so you have to be on the top to get a chance. After 4 years you became a veterinary doctor. 8 years it too much in my opinion.

    Iam a foreign veterinary student and i need to take the exam to be able to work in Canada or the U.S i am still a student in my final year (not clinical year) the thing is i am completely lost and here are some of the things that i would appreciate if you could answer first do i need to have good practical skills? (to work at a clinic or a hospital) į need to take all the time that i can for the test so not practicing for a while might give me more time but would it prevent me from passing the NAVLE ? I will take a surgical exam after i pass the NAVLE so for that yes i will prepare better by working but i need to know if the NAVLE needs it also do you thing vet prep would be enough? meaning the questions would be similar or at least the information in it

    Wow, turned out really great for a budget paintjob! Also I think its nice, that you didnt try to make it look brand new and didnt fill all the dents with body filler. An old car with some patina is way cooler than a brand new looking one in my opinion!

    • @kyg626
      @kyg626 Рік тому

      I’m sorry to hear that, I know how discouraging failures can seem. The NAVLE is a challenging exam and takes a lot to prepare for. But don’t give up now. Take whatever time you need recoup, and use what you’ve learned from your last attempt. Unfortunately, there’s no secret for studying. It really comes down to putting in the hours and completing the practice questions. Work on completing vet prep to near 100% then try again! If you have any other questions or comments let me know 😊

    • @kyg626
      @kyg626 Рік тому

      Thank you for being open and sharing. I know several people that didn’t pass the first time, but did fine the second time they took it. NAVLE gives you an interpretation of the sections that you need to work on, that would be a good start. The bulk of my studying that helped me was just in the hours of practice questions that I did repeating the material until it became familiar. It can be discouraging at times but if you put the hours in and focus on some of the areas you need to improve on you i’m sure you’ll do fine and will be that much closer to becoming a veterinarian! Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck studying. 😊

    How did u study all the pharmacological drugs for the NAVLE?

    • @kyg626
      @kyg626 Рік тому

      The drugs I studied as they related to each disease, for example as I was studying coccidia In cows I would then try to remember that its treated with amprolium. I heavily relied vet prep to help me memorize the other factors about each drug and it worked out well, just take it a day at a time and get though the practice questions. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
