Tonight's episode of Face/Off is going to compare two former lead vocalists of hard rock/heavy metal band Black Sabbath. The rounds are as follows;
Round 1: Blizzard Of Ozz [1980] vs. Holy Diver [1983]
Round 2: Diary Of A Madman [1981] vs. The Last In Line [1984]

Stupid game…this is only to get likes
As a pre-teen I stalked this album in the Simpsons-Sears record department for two years. I couldn't afford it at the time it was released as $10 (Cdn) was a small fortune to a 12 year old, for me anyway. I was enamored with the live version of Rock and Roll Al Nite. I finally acquired KISS Alive in 1977 and I played that bad-boy smooth for over a year.
During this era it was "You wanted the best and you got it! The hottest band in the land, KISS!"
KISS. My favorite band.
I AGREE WITH MOST OF THIS EXCEPT WITH ....THE ELDER AND DRESSED TO KILL SHOULD BE HIGHER
What is this..
Kiss played their first show at Madison Square Garden?? Are you drunk?
Utterly uninteresting
Hugs from Brazil 🎉
How did you get the Razzle story so wrong?!?!?!? It was a car accident that involved another car and their two passengers that were seriously hurt. One with severe brain damage for life.
I loved this album. GGG had as many bad songs as Theater. Then Dr Feelgood was Motley’s “ BLACK “ album. Sellout record if you will. All the edge was gone completely.
Great! A new Kisscography tier list!!! Mehhh Another one saying Destoyer is the best one when IT IS NOT
On Through The Night is the best album better than hysteria
The first two Def Leppard albums were very good. The rest sucks.
Def Leppard PRIOR Mutt Lange was hard Rock, post they were bubble gum rock.....but rich..
First time I saw Def Leppard was 1988. Hysteria tour in the round. Awesome show.
High n dry is their most straightforward rock album.
For years, they did not play anything from this album live because neither current guitar player played on it. When I saw them about 5 years ago they played bringin on the heartbreak and switch 625. It was awesome!
Phil Collins was a badass 80’s drummer….!!😜🤣🤣
Bro…. On Through the Night was OK…. it was good….. but their best material hands down is the stuff Mutt Lange arranged, wrote, orchestrated, and produced….. Mutt is a great songwriter lol
“It Don’t Matter” is a friggin JAM!!!
Whenever I hear people say, "Def Leppard sucks!" I always say, you obviously haven't listened to High 'n' Dry.
The first two albums were very good. The rest sucks.
Pyromania had some awesome radio hits, but after that, I wrote them off.
@@porchfyre612 The radio hits are why I wrote them off.
If it weren't for songs like Foolin', Too Late For Love, Photograph, Rock of Ages, and Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop), their first two albums would have died into the oblivion.
@@porchfyre612 I bought the first two albums when they first came out and still listen to them now and then, so they weren't headed for oblivion in my book. I bought the third album (and saw them on that tour just because Krokus were opening) and then I never bought another of their albums or saw them live again. The third album showed they were pathetic pop sell outs and they barely did anything live from their first two albums.
Desert Island disc for me.
This is my favorite album of all time, across all genres. On Through the Night and Pyromania were also good, but not as good as High ‘n’ Dry. I like the Canadian version because it has Me and My Wine, which is one of my favorite tracks. Their albums after that have been very hit and miss (mostly miss).
Me and my wine was on the ‘84 reissue along with another version of bringin on the heartbreak with keyboard overdubs.
Democrats favorite song by def lippard pyromania
My fav Def album. Bought it back on the 80's. Please don't t sing Saturday Night again...lol.
Best DL album
I don't think "Keep Pushin" was remixed. I think Gary re-recorded his guitar parts for "A Decade of Rock & Roll".
My first introduction to REO was the "Nine Lives" Album. I thought it was great and it opened the door to all of their earlier releases. "You Can Tune A Piano But You Can’t Tuna Fish" is one of my favorites, and one I use to listen to a lot back in the day.
❤🎉
So they let anyone have a UA-cam channel?
quess so, seeing as you commented
@ k?
Excellent work. Thank you, love the Scorps!
The best album of all time in my opinion. Masterpiece !!
Not a bad album, but I would love it if they had a different vocalist. LOL, even the cat was trying to knock the cd off the table.
Mick Mars had phenomenal tone on this record!
❤❤❤❤❤love Van Halen...🎉🎉🎉
I agree about the Roth screech.
Never really hated it but do not really want to hear at this point. He ran Razzle over, I thought they crashed ?
I absoulety love thr first two albums. Its a solid album. Home sweet home is a classic. Save our souls is their most underated song. I always like we need a lover, use it or lose it, and Louder then Hell.
This is my third favorite Motley record after SATD & TFFL but Dr. Feelgood is solid too🤘
Thank you for not placing Caress of steel last
Bro, not to be to harsh, but if you don't even know who the members are, (Wolfgang), or take time doing any research, maybe you should reconsider giving commentary.
I corrected the gaffe in the description.
That is an interesting accent, are you from Pennsylvania?
Nope, North Carolina my whole life.
Counterparts is WAAYYYYY to low.
Counterparts can easily be number 7 or 6 by my metric.
Never understood the hate for this record. Not their best, but there are some great songs on it. And no, I’m not talking about the two singles. Save Our Souls is the standout
Terrible album
I like Theatre. I was 13, perfect age for it. When a person lives throughout the band’s history, a person can really know the albums. We don’t rely on just looking back and comparing albums from the band. Music changes with the times, just like music fans do. Just looking back and ranting about it kind of makes people sound like posers. I appreciate your opinions, but not the overall approach.
ABSOLUTELY BEST HARD ROCK/METAL/ROCK ALBUM FROM THE BEST BAND THAT HAVE EVER WALKED ON EARTH LONG LIVE THE FUCKING CRUE STILL ROCKIN EVERY OTHER BAND OUT OF THIS PLANET
LOLOLOL. Have you seen Vince? Lolol
The audio makes this review unlistenable
It would make a way better EP Just cut half the songs off
Yes, if I were able to edit down the album by half it might look like this: 01) City Boy Blues 02) Smokin' In The Boys Room 03) Louder Than Hell 04) Keep Your Eye On The Money 05) Fight For Your Rights
@@matthewhipps3221 mine would be louder than hell Smoking in the boys room Save our souls Tonight we need a lover Home sweet Home
