Excellent Buck of a lifetime and I’m very happy for you. I just can’t do the crossbow thing either man sorry, it’s just a quiet rifle with ZERO challenge behind killing a Deer with it. Now a disabled person or elderly, absolutely! But in your 20’s and calling killing a Deer with a Crossbow “ Hunting”……..? Nope Congratulations.

Took 2 bucks from my ground blind this year, one with crossbow and one with compound. Not much difference in the two seeing as how I didn't practice with either. Made sure they were zeroed in and put the hammer down on em. If it's legal I use what I want, and if it's a legal deer it's going in the freezer. 😂

(Crossbow) i am 55 years old. Back in my teens i hunted with psa bow. Hard hunting none of this fancy stuff like today. 10 years ago i got injured and now hunt with a Crossbow and am able to do what i love. For all you people against hunting with crossbows let me tell you. Us ole farts are tougher than you'll ever be. No cameras or fancy clothes or anything else. Leave us alone. It's your hunt do it the way you want and harvest what you want to even if its a spike buck. Who cares what people think. The important thing is to get people in the woods hunting.

They need to go back to the only way you can crossbow hunt if you physically can't pull a bow back. Shooting crossbow doesn't take any skills

If im hunting my target buck, im doing it with my compound. I like hunting with it. HOWEVER if i wanted to drastically up my chances at putting meat in the freezer. Id have no issue using a crossbow. Basically what i do anyways. I hunt my target buck with a bow. Come rifle season im 100% putting meat in the freezer. No doubts about it, never not taken 2-3 in rifle season. Now, if my target buck steps out during rifle season am i taking him? You bet your ass. Take your deer with what you enjoy. Notbing wrong with hunting with a crossbow. You still have to put in the work, go to the woods, drag him out and dress him. Its all hunting, except rifle season....rifle season is killing lol
