Very nice! I just picked up a new GP100 3" 357 Wiley Clapp recently. Love it overall. It has the Novak style night sight and 7 shot.

Some people say that the Renaissance wax removes the bluing little bit, very little. It's not visible for the eye but it removes the bluing. And the more you use it, the more visible for eyes it becomes. The blackness becomes lighter. This wax, they say, is good for stainless guns.

Renaissance Wax is hard and dry, and doesn't remain sticky like oil, which can attract atmospheric acidity. It can be reapplied every once or twice a year, depending on how much it is used and whether it is on an internal or external surface.

Because of bad ammo that’s not sold anymore, this 686 has never had recall done making it more valuable
