    Am not a teacher or an academic of Khoekhoegowab. But I am a rapper. I rap in Khoekhoegowab sometimes. Even the non-damara Namibians are always amazed by my flow.

    Someone tell the German lady in the background to hou haar bek asb😂 What's the difference between ! and ǂ? They sound the same to me

      The difference is subtle but maybe this will help .. the ! Kinda sounds like the sound you would have if you were to knock two smooth stones against each other whereas the "not equal" would be similar to the sound you would get if you were to slap someone .. the ! Sound is sharper and "snappier" if you will ..

    The language is known as Khoekhoegowab. The Damara, Nama and a variety of San vernaculars make up this very vast and ancient language. She is a natural (or well practiced). Becomes easier if you laugh less at the "clicks" - better referred to as sounds :). Camera person: Thank you for clearing up the confusion around the "hash".
