Sub 12 are pretty much a waste of money. Why pay 1000 or more pounds for an air gun. Just buy a used crossman 760 pump air gun and save the money. You get the same power with 2 pumps.

Funny how no one ever mentions that the 4 sections of baffles on the shroud need to be heated up to loosen the lock-tight glue. AirMaks themselves don't even advertise this until you have issues attempting to separate them.

One of the best air rifles money can buy. Just one con on the S400 and 500 series i found is the transfer port seal. A very small thin O-ring laying loose between the upper and lower part of the rifle only pressed together and hold on in place with four screws Air Arms could use a thicker O-ting if they milled a groove to fit it in so it won'r blow out so easy and is way more easy to replace when needed Cheers!

Fitting a rifle shoulder sling takes all the weight problems away, I have one fitted to my FAC FX Maverick .25 tuned to 65ftlb & 980-1005 fps with ZAN 33grn slugs, thats fitted with a Hawk Vantage scope & Pard 007, I wanted a gun setup that could handle ALL situations from ratting to rabbits & others with a change to ammunition, that would not require different guns. Works just fine.

Great review Adrain I have a few air arms and the one I recently purchased is the HFT 500 fantastic gun . I've also purchased from my local gun shop the FX Panthera 177 Calibra sub -12 ft. lbs (128 meters ) 150mm self adhesive splatter targets hitting the bull another brilliant gun I video it and forward it onto Hawkes Eye TV .

A torque driver is more for protecting your scope from being overtorqued than having it loosen during firing.

EDGUN WAS THE FIRST TO COME OUT WITH THE BULLPUP AND THEY WERE ADJUSTABLE ALSO WITH PLAYING AROUND WITH ADJUSTABILITY.

8:30 -- WRONG! That's not how cleaning pellets work on a springer they are to be pushed or pulled through never fired. Those felt pellets have no weight behind them so it's the equal of dry firing that particular airgun.

a springer has more wear and tear on scopes and mounts then a centerfire large kaliber gun ,the mount must be locked by a pin or arrestor. most in the mount a pin or screw that fits in een hole

Used a cleaning pellet in my hw97 once and it had the same effect as dry firing the gun, was so loud I was basically def for a minute or two afterwards, felt horrid, never again

When setting the scope , I use bubbles. Level the rifle in the butler then level the scope. Hopefully the vertical is at a right angle to the bore to eliminate any cant. Nice presentation..

I have this rifle, use it with open sights. It's really great fun 😊
