Exploring Hard enduro trails with 2 oldskool KTMs
KET and I went trail riding in a sandy quarry and discovered lots of technical trails. We both made some mistakes but neither did get hurt. The best riding experience so far. We are torturing my KTM EXC 520 from 2001 and his EXC 450 from 2004. Both run great for their age and will get us through the toughest obstacles.

BarnBuild Part 6 - Making good progress on the exterior
Переглядів 41День тому
In the sixth video of my Barn build series we mostly progress on the exterior side of the building. Installing wood siding with a friend is much faster and effortless. We ran out of painted boards...twice. I also built the walkway in the attic when it was a rainy day and installed some windows. My wife got to plaster the reinforcement layer and some special content in the end@lautaroparada950 !
Is this budget tent sauna worth it?
Переглядів 6228 днів тому
I invited some friends to my sauna and discovered that I didn't have a sauna. A fb marketplace deal and a hardware store visit later we got to building it. had the frame up one evening and fire in the chimney the other night. Sauna ended up being a very relaxing and nice experience. Would recommend to build your own! Head leili!
KasTam 2024 summer project- Childhood homes' roof
Переглядів 105Місяць тому
Kastam has taken on a long project for the 2024 summer. Renewing the roof of my moms' house. With the help of good carpenters we managed to demolish and rebuild the majority in ONE weekend. I devoted almost two months on this project and the outcome is solid and easy to the eyes. Lots of construction footage is missing due to fast building tempo.
Inventors' and creators event Made in Villevere
Переглядів 501Місяць тому
I took part in an event Made in Villevere and presented my 4x4 diesel UTV to the public. I had two days to work on the machine and finished with time to spare. The event was nicely organized and free for everyone. There were kids areas, competitions and a display of homemade machines- bikes, tillers cars, tractors. This year people drag raced tillers. And the most important part- my UTV got a p...
Constructing a shelter for storage of lumber
Переглядів 672 місяці тому
I saw that the tarp that was not even a year old was already degrading. I had to stop buying new ones every year thus happened the idea of constructing a shelter for my existing and future lumber. Who knows- I might upgrade it later on so I could store projects. But for now enjoy the simplicity of woodwork when nothing has to be square or straight- just enough that I could attach metal roofing ...

This Purtse Mig welder was a challenge
Переглядів 1343 місяці тому
I have been hunting for a more powerful MIG for a long time now. My old Powermat 210 A just was not enough for the heavier projects as the woodsplitter. And then I found the Estonian made welder Purtse Modul 250A with a small problem to it. I will tackle some electrics on this project and succeed as the original wire feed controller was dead. Nothing than a modern dc pwm regulator can't handle....

Bro be careful wear shoes
I appreciate your concern! I'll definitely make sure to wear my shoes next time.
You make it seem like those blocks are as light as styrofoam 😅
I definately got a decent workout. 😄
Well done!
Appreciate it!
It works. 60% of the time every time.😂 Part. 2 is ordering that man a pizza. He deserves it for showing up even if it's just for the booze😅
Once he appears there will be lots of physical labor. And perhaps some pizza.
Aitäh et lubasid mul oma atv-ga sõita
Teed endale ka?
Vägev!
Tänud!
Epic build, well deserved victory, congrats!
I appreciate it!
Are you gonna use that spark plug next year? 😀
A hood ornament?
@@kastamD yes, but make it spark ⚡️⚡️😄
@@KarlKaselo cool idea!
Why still use plastic to cover the wood? I mean, that's the reason why you built the shelter, right?
The sorting and stacking of the lumber is on my todo list.
Aga proovi oleks söönud.😂😂
Igaüks kiitis
Kuna sööma kutsud Est???
Kahjuks ei teinud aparaati endale.
Картина называется, пятачок, ты был не прав. 😅😅😅
It was a good "sakuska"! 😉
Võrri ja Delta aeg jäi vist vahele, kohe Jawa peale😀
Alustasin siiski sääreväristajaga.
Pealkirja lugedes juba arvasin, et siit tuleb miskit muruka raamil olev aiapostipuurmasin! 😅 Aga siiski! Vägev relv, pisikestele järelkasvudele paras madistamiseks.
Tänud! Teisi kodukootud projekte kanali avalehel mitmeid. 😉
Старичек еще может работать.
It needs gearbox repair.
Promo-SM 😊
What do you mean?
I've been there with my own W204. What started off as a rear discs and pads escalated into new parking brake shoes, real calipers and backing plates. I took the hubs off to change the backing plates. A pig of a job but the rear brakes are like new.
I saw this backplate cutting online and thought it should hold up nice. It is a good car in my opinion.
@@kastamD Getting the hubs off will make it easier for the next guy (probably me). I love my W204. They're one of the best modern Mercs.
Which one was better?
In my opinion I would have the 4 stroke Ktm
Äge projekt. Kui kiilu esimene tera oleks eespool siis läheks puu lihtsamalt sealt läbi. Kui uue tera teed siis kaalu seda varianti
Tänud! Uue kiilu tegemisel plaanin seda arvestada! Samuti vaatan kas õlirõhk on korras.
I call b.s.
Real.
Uses for it?
We drink it
Whats it taste like besides sweet? Anything unique?
It has a uniqe taste. It's mild though
Some ferment it with honey and raisins. Then it's got a punch to it.
Dud taped into a trees juggler
Its giving almost 4L /24h today
Enda tarbeks asjalik tööriist valmimas. Mis marki treipink garaazis on?
Võiks puid teha küll. Treipingi margi pean üles otsima.
Can you make birch syrup with it and does it taste good?
Havent tried to make syrup, but it is sweet.
I've had birch candy made with the syrup. It's a very strong and herbal flavor.
@@bluesSGL I'll google birch syrup making to see how difficult it is.
@@kastamD so you consume the water?
Yes, just drinking the sap.
Cool how you live. Where is it? We are from the Netherlands "living" in east Germany and want to move to a place with nature and less rules, laws and bureaucracy.
I'm estonian. Thanks for the praise!
It's a great little saw! i run the same saw and it is very rare when i feel a need for a bigger saw for household use here in Estonia.
Tervitused!
Good skills but most people today are either too lazy or lack basic hand tools skills i as a teenager watched and learned from others and trial n error experience is everything. 😊
Thanks! The boys grown in the country side will probably maintain your car.
Do you ever change transmission fluid, differential, transfer case?
Trans Fluid and diff was at 270k .
will diesel engine last longer than gas engine?
I believe diesels last a bit longer. Lots of high mileage cars are diesels.
Your car is old now, pretty easy to find cheap part and documentation
And still very comfy and pleasant to drive!
How's your timing chain after this mileage?
I'm not sure. Sounds normal, will investigate when starts making any ticking noise.
@@kastamD I was going to say! It sounds great for the mileage! I have and maintain a lot of 651 engines, if you change the oil every 9.000kms max they stay happy forever
@@BigHumz155 I'm doing every 10k and on 290 and 300 etc. Easy to follow
@@kastamD really good!!
Well done for saving yourself a small fortune 👍🏾😊
I Wonder how much?
@@kastamD ask your authorised Mercedes dealer for a laugh 😆
Also timing the injection pump after timinh belt change is a good idea. ;)
I did that off camera.
On the AHU engine it is a good idea to change the intermediate shaft bearings around 500k too ;)
Good to know. Thanks for sharing!
😢 Promo sm

Intresting video😀
Thanks! More updates to come!
very good job!
Thank you!
Why are the mph jumping shouldn't rpms be moving instead?
Low voltage issue. Today i got it started and the tach works well.
Una volta ho trovato 1 dito di ghiaccio. DENTRO L AUTO 🥶
If only there was a light or something that told drivers if the glow plugs are hot enough to start the car! 😏
I need to fix the volvo. Audi is already getting a maintenance.
I don't drive in an area where it gets that cold. But even I am smarter than to try to start a diesel truck, or car in the wintertime without a mix of a little kerosene with the diesel or B heaters heaters to keep the oil warm and once it's started, you've got to wait 20 minutes for the engine heat. Especially at twenty degrees.
Old school hacks of yours
Plug the block heater in
It does not have one unfortunately
Ok, so yeah it’s a cold start… The fact it started on fresh air is the impressive part. You ain’t getting off the driveway with that amount of diesel no matter what.
Fumes ignite better!
That poor Volvo 😢
Needs a battery and probably new glow plugs.
What wall thickness did you use for that square tubes? 3 mm?
I used 90x90 3mm thick square tubing
Ah yes, the urge to crash through something only to pay the consequences directly after😂
Ah, the age-old tale of crashing through something and then wondering why we didn't think it through. We're all guilty of it at some point!
