First time seeing this channel, the title using terms as leaks and implying the reveal of the final dark angel and all we get is some guy more or less pondering the subject at best

Seemed like they were going with suppresion synergy, with asmodai and azrael, and baraquiel and sarquel work well together with plasma, could this new guy be the missing link?

Maybe I'm alone in this but I like the parry companion character. I have been doing great with da in faction arena and a hard hitting Jaeger type would get me some easy finishing blows. Early information too. Active would be cool if it was a ranged stun shot followed with a charge strike. Still dreaming, lol. Thanks for the info

Crap. This sounds horrible if true. We already have a bad melee character in Asmodai. I really hope it was Sammael summoning outriders for a turn. This sounds like a weak Jaegar. The inner circle companions are the Redeemed. They’ve been around forever and often cone out in force when the Lion is around. This really doesn’t sound like it fits. Hopefully this isn’t the last DA character. The DA are already pretty lacklustre.

I thought the new DA would be Belial/sammael or Ezekiel. But (if the leak proves being right) a companion would be interesting.

Parry exists its the trait the BT have all it does is take one hit away from an enemies attack to a minimum of 1… if it is an inner circle companion his thing should be to just hit whatever he’s fighting regardless of what it is… that’s a very dark angels thing that ignoring modifiers stuff and just smacking folk… if it was truly properly dark angles stuff then this lad should be the best duelist character the marines can put down with some sorta decapitation strike type your dead attack thing. Cause that’s what they were known for in The heresy… being far and away the most ruthlessly efficient space marines of all of them and the jack of all trades faction… with frankly the best swords anywhere in 40k… their current rules don’t really reflect that but they really should… Terranic Greatswords are some really scary stuff.

The DA feel ok in TA but that’s about it. Asmodai is wayyyy to squishy and even against chaos doesn’t hit as hard as he should. Most disappointing character released in my opinion. His kit is a clunky mess. Barq has heavy weapon trait but his GIANT HEAVY PLASMA CANNON doesn’t get the benefit from the trait or buffs. Snow print just missed the mark on the faction.

Pretty sure either his active or passive will stun targets since Asmodai's passive "feared interrogator" deals additional damage against supressed (Azrael supresses with his active) and stunned enemies.

Forcas was a Blood Angel. He was one of the original Deathwatch.

Parry is a trait that reduces incoming melee hits by 1 to a minimum of 1. It's a closed fist icon, all the BT characters have it except for Burchard.

I don't even see this as a nerf this should never have been allowed to continue. It should have been corrected right away before ppl spent money on an obviously flawed interaction. I think it's late but it's the correct thing to do. Like nearly nothing else in the game can double ability on the same turn

It’s so ridiculous that SP don’t use a similar mechanic other games with arena do. Either do the pick & ban or ban certain characters based on % of usage last season. So if Ragnar & Aun’shi were in 40% or more of teams, they get banned next season. Gives everyone a chance to actually be tactical again. That way it’ll take a whole season to see Ragshi comps again

Wrask to add survivability to a flame lre team, make a deathguard ball even tankier or deep strike into all the overwatch so abraxus and yazaghor can freely go do their thing in incursions then just bring in rotbone every 4-5 rounds as needed to top him up make him a winner for me. Agree with everything else except I guess xybia does have a place in the neuro team as a parasite stacking version of roswitha vs non psyker bosses

I'm ok with the nerf... but next time they should not wait 1 year to do it.. I have ragnar in diamond and I ll keep him on the run.. I don't play tournaments arena like better the one with factions any case...its ok..

The simple fact is that you have pve and pvp game modes with no change in damage/ abilities. Look at any other good game with pvp and pve modes like this, weapon damage and abilities are never the same across all modes.

People overreacted about the nerf, though it is still silly that SP decided to nerf a character instead of reworking the game mode

Tacticus needs more Chaos Factions. Imperials outnumber Chaos 3 to 1 in the game.

It's a valid change to TA and fair play it ruins PVP for the majority from the sounds of it. The TA usage restriction would have solved the issue BUT this general nurf across the board is nothing but a complete money grabbing BS stunt they basically just screwed everyone that's invested in Ragnar and Kharn conveniently 2 month's after the last Kharn event.... But the Ragnar TA complaints have been around alot longer. But next week will have new legendary events with new OP meta 's. Reset stones don't cut it.

Ragnar released over tuned and has been long overdue for a re balance. I am so thankful to SP that his rework is coming and it has really shown the toxicity in the community
