How to dominate an u17 bike race. Step 1: Have wealthy parents who buy you expensive equipment and coaching and nutrition. Step 2: Race against riders with poor equipment, zero coaching and cheap nutrition. Done.
Hahahahaha yes I really wish that was true, but this is actually what happens Step 1. Wake up at 4am 6 days a week, train more than the competition, I think last time I checked I have ridden over 20000Km this year. Step 2. Race the best boys in the country with the same equipment, opportunities and if you listen to their bravado and their parents the best coaches in the country and still beat them.

@@nicholascycling I've recently started bringing my son to MTB and Road races in South Africa. However, we've encountered issues with his name on the start list, which I believe start from the fact that he's an Indian national residing in Botswana but races in South Africa using a Botswana license. Nicholas is an amazing cyclist, and he’s really strong.
