First try out after a few mods (injora scx portal axles, 9imod 30kg servo, firma 40a). 120mm tyres are a bit too big for it so running it on some original scx wheels/tyres for now which were way too soft.

    I find the stock one sounds already too nice to make any changes at all. Based on the higher seat you have i think your a tall guy, is it possible to see a picture of you on the bike (side ways) so i can get an idea how its gonna look like? Becouse am 192cm, and am looking to get one of those bikes, but i wonder if amgoing to look OK on it.

    • @NinjaMoses
      @NinjaMoses Місяць тому

      @plamentv you are correct mate, 194cm and by no means light 🤣 Don't have anything showing me on the bike right now, will see what if I can grab something this weekend. I reckon you'd be fine unless you are all legs. Legs only just fit into the tank cut-outs, but hasn't been an issue for me. I'm used to far, far worse on road bikes.

    The stock pipe sounds good too. I would only really change it to save weight than for the sound to be honest. The aftermarket is a bit loud and might get annoying after a few kilometers 😅

    • @NinjaMoses
      @NinjaMoses Місяць тому

      @paulvandervyver4223 yeah definitely nothing wrong with the stocker but thought for $95 delivered total I'd give it a go. Pretty happy with it so far - is definitely louder but not over the top. Had a nice pop/crackle if you change gear at just the right time

    You put it in a 99 GV, but its a 90-99 vitara old form (ET, TA, SV420 or SV620) or a new 99-2006 form (J series)? I have a convertible SV420 (with the 4 cyl. J20 motor), and already swap it inside the 6 cyl H20. But its not enough powerfull, now im looking to swap the H27a Motor.

    • @krismoses1179
      @krismoses1179 5 років тому

      The old forms were just called Vitaras here in Australia. I also had a SV420 before this one with the J20A - great car, numerous vids of it on my channel. This was a 99 Grand Vitara (SQ625) that I saved from the scrap yard that was factory fitted with a H25A already (bought it with a blown motor) that I fitted an 03 H27A into. Would have liked one of the newer motors out of the 05+ JB series but they had a few too many changes that was at the time outside my scope/ability to DIY (CAS instead of CPS etc). There was another guy in town with a H27A swapped into a SV420, I did lust after it.

      @@krismoses1179 Thank you so much. I think there should not be too much work to replace my H20 with a H27a from 2003. The question is whether there is enough place for the H27 in the Vitara SV420?
