RGT 136100 v3 mods

First try out after a few mods (injora scx portal axles, 9imod 30kg servo, firma 40a). 120mm tyres are a bit too big for it so running it on some original scx wheels/tyres for now which were way too soft.

Testing out the new Dynapro muddies and playing with activetrack on the drone for the first time
Hey mate I’m up in yanchep. Just got myself a 450mt. We should catch up for a ride 👌👌👌
I ordered the ali pipe and the high front fender with my grey 450 MT. Hope it arrives soon 🤞
That bike sounds great
I hate america united states🎉
Love 450MT love the Jimny
👌👌👌👍👉🇬🇷
I find the stock one sounds already too nice to make any changes at all. Based on the higher seat you have i think your a tall guy, is it possible to see a picture of you on the bike (side ways) so i can get an idea how its gonna look like? Becouse am 192cm, and am looking to get one of those bikes, but i wonder if amgoing to look OK on it.
@plamentv you are correct mate, 194cm and by no means light 🤣 Don't have anything showing me on the bike right now, will see what if I can grab something this weekend. I reckon you'd be fine unless you are all legs. Legs only just fit into the tank cut-outs, but hasn't been an issue for me. I'm used to far, far worse on road bikes.
@@NinjaMoses I can imagine 🫣 thank you for your opinion 🙏
I used to ride bare handed, and still do. But now I have to type with the tip of my nose.
Picked a good time to pass the cops on that bridge when you were going slow 😅 I reckon that’s Brighton too!
@scotttully7602 lady walking the dog was the mvp 🤣
The stock pipe sounds good too. I would only really change it to save weight than for the sound to be honest. The aftermarket is a bit loud and might get annoying after a few kilometers 😅
@paulvandervyver4223 yeah definitely nothing wrong with the stocker but thought for $95 delivered total I'd give it a go. Pretty happy with it so far - is definitely louder but not over the top. Had a nice pop/crackle if you change gear at just the right time
is it lighter ?
@michalczajkowski8798 Couple of kilos, 1.7kg for the muffler & link pipe vs 3.8kg for the stock muffler and heat shield
@@NinjaMoses 2 kg here, change the accu and tail and you get much lighter bike
hey what's that thing mounted on the handlebar? Charger?
@andherium ddpai ranger dashcam mate. Just had it sticking up like that on the test ride so it could record the phone that had the decibel meter going. Usually it's facing forward tucked in nicely infront of the mirror
Nice, I like the windscreen too. A lot. Where's it from please?
@Chooky88 cheers mate. Screen is the optional cfmoto tall screen I got through the dealer. SKU: 6AQV-804100-6000
Sounds good, hey could you Let me know which size windscreen is this? 45, or 55cm? From Ali Express?
@freshanything6629 that's the cfmoto tall screen mate
They sound good stock but sound horn with an exhaust, what a bargain.
Sounds nice
Stock suspension? Seems really stiff. Did you stiffen them so it wouldn't rub the fenders? Good video.
100 mm tires?
Stock are 100. These ones are original scx10 wheels which are approx 114mm
io ho il gran vitara 20td del 2003, normale senza modifiche.........e un'auto straordinaria
Muy bueno! Me ha gustado mucho 👍🏻
Best of models xl7
Wonder how bloody fast this is with stock 27 inch wheels rather than 31.7 inch
whats it 0-100km?
Grand vitara 2nd gen for the win
Stock?
Whats under the hood and Whats the weight of the car
Just the standard 3.8 V6 mate. Car was fairly standard back then and just running a 2" lift and 33" all terrains. Pretty capable buses with just the standard traction control
WIlbinga's the best, a great 4x4 spot :D
big end bearing?
i want your car :D
You put it in a 99 GV, but its a 90-99 vitara old form (ET, TA, SV420 or SV620) or a new 99-2006 form (J series)? I have a convertible SV420 (with the 4 cyl. J20 motor), and already swap it inside the 6 cyl H20. But its not enough powerfull, now im looking to swap the H27a Motor.
The old forms were just called Vitaras here in Australia. I also had a SV420 before this one with the J20A - great car, numerous vids of it on my channel. This was a 99 Grand Vitara (SQ625) that I saved from the scrap yard that was factory fitted with a H25A already (bought it with a blown motor) that I fitted an 03 H27A into. Would have liked one of the newer motors out of the 05+ JB series but they had a few too many changes that was at the time outside my scope/ability to DIY (CAS instead of CPS etc). There was another guy in town with a H27A swapped into a SV420, I did lust after it.
@@krismoses1179 Thank you so much. I think there should not be too much work to replace my H20 with a H27a from 2003. The question is whether there is enough place for the H27 in the Vitara SV420?
Timing chain in slapping you can hear it
Yeah what tyres & lift?
dude there is no timing belt and no water cooler.... wtf
He turned it on 1st start make sure its running befor going on cold start
leonidas dasilva timing belt ahaha it has a timing chain it has no fan belt huge difference
What lockers are you using? In the US about the only option for 1998-2004 is ARB.
Hey mate, what size tires and lift did u have on your xl7?
what all did you do to it so far
to !what size of tyres u have ? lift ?
What's the exhaust setup. I have a 2003 Chevy tracker zr2 and I was going to take the muffler off and do a glass pack and make it sound throaty and aggressive. But I really like the sound of yours. If you could let me know that would be awesome
what mufler are you running
what kind of number is is like were did you buy it
Hi, congratulations.. what is the suspension brand?
Where did you get the front bumper at?!?
Looks like put metal around the front crash bar
Car looks great!!! I am just working on such GV... Can you describe litlle bit some changes... What kind of lift? what size of wheels. Also want to say that other videos also are awsome. Strange that they dont have a lot of views.
I miss my grand vitara:(
Good setup and very nice videos. Do you have a link which distrubutes the setup story? I wonder the tire sizes and lift kit also wondering diff lockers. Cheers
Have to register to check out link.
Haha yeah I thought I might get away with it but the poor old gopro copped it. Have got a build up thread on auszookers mate, I've put the link in the video description above.
Looks fun! Nice and technical. I was thinking "bad place for a camera" then crunch! What is your setup? Any links to a forum build up thread?
Nice GV, I liked what you did with your blue Vit but this is cool too! Looks like a well setup rig with more space haha. I've never come across these climbs in Wilbinga... Where are they roughly? Two Rocks end, near Wilbinga Rd/Waneroo Rd entrance, or further north? Cheers.
near the first big hill
Sweet, do you notice any power difference and were there any issues getting it running?
I won't cheap out get h27 with the ecu fully loaded then ull notice the diffrance while its out change timing chain and gaskets
