DIY manometer Suzuki SV1000 throttle body sync
Переглядів 2,7 тис.5 років тому
Synchronized the throttle bodies of my Suzuki SV 1000 -04 with a homemade manometer. They were a way out of sync and the transmission oil column of my meter was nearly drawn into engine. This operation made a huge difference on my machine.
Не плохо sv валит ,в хороших руках))
Love that British exhaust note 🇬🇧❤
You need your rear suspension tuned
On the road they are long and heavy to change direction. The Aprilia mille 03 model handles far better and stops quicker. Both are great bikes for different reasons. I rode to Scotland in one 9 hour trip on an 02 Daytona and I went 6 hours to Anglesey on the Aprilia. Great bikes of that era. 👍🏻👌
Owned a 1999 Mille a few years back and since a week a red 2000 t595/955i in the shed! I love 'em both! And yes the Ape was easier to ride, but that can be subjective because I spend only one weekend on the Daytona and several years on the Mille...
Nice Sound
great sounding bike
Nice video, great soundscape! Looking forward to take my own '02 Daytona there too :)
Hi have you installed a quikshifter? If yes wich one? Thanks.
I had a Healtech iQSE. I had one on my Suzuki SV1000 also and it worked better on that bike. On Daytona it missed gear every now and then even if I tried many different settings. I found clutchless shifting more reliable option for quicker shifting with Tona.
@@JouniSV great. Thanks!
Sound N' 1
Perkele! Mine doesn't sound anything like that. Did you change anything with the airbox/filter? Yours also revs easier than mine, especially around 4000rpm: did you remap it?
I had a K&N filter and the airbox snorkels were cut off. I used MM3 map. Sprockets were -1/+3. Scorpion exhaust was also a straight pipe with no db killer.
@@JouniSV Kiitos Jouni, those are some extensive mods indeed, but the difference is really big too. Well done! Can I ask what an MM3 map is? The rest I understand ;-)
@@filibertkraxner305 It's a custom ECU map (Massive Midrange) you can find it here: tuneecu.net/Custom_Tune_list.html Check triumphrat.net for more info.
@@JouniSV Thanks a lot Jouni, will do!
Did you switch the throttle tube and if you did which one?
I did actually. If I remember correctly it was from a R6 2005. The difference was minimal though. Maybe a tube from a newer R6 would work better as a quick throttle.

Cool. Love Daytona
Great bike. I own 2003. Just love it.
Nice to see our bikes running strong. My 02 centennial will be on the streets this summer hopefully🏍️
I'm eagerly waiting for the next trackday since she now has a new rear shock, serviced/replaced linkage bearings, quickshifter, new fork oil, etc.
@@JouniSV Nice, quick shifter will make her sicker. I just bought a new G2 ergonomics quick turn throttle tube. But I'm lucky my baby runs after 8-10 years sitting under a 🌲 🤙 btw Do you have DSSA or SSSA
@Ace Landon nothing compares to riding 🏍️
great video! I love the 595n. Totally underrated in my opinion. I have one too :) ...2002 Centennial edition. Greetings from germany
Thanks. I'm really waiting for the next trackday since she now has a new rear shock and a quickshifter.
@@JouniSV How did the quick shifter work out ? ,I have a 2004 and would love to know if it made a significant improvement and which one did you install. Great to see one being put through it's paces
@@Evilroco I had a Healtech iQSE installed on those later videos. I had one on my Suzuki SV1000 also and it worked better on that bike. With Daytona it kept missing gear every now and then even if I tried many different settings.
Great riding brother! And those engine noises are fantastic!
Could be awesome, if you did show where to plug the tubes in and what screw you were adjusting on 😁👍
No nyt on laatu kamaa👌🏻😎
Nice! SV1000's rule!
