People don't go to atlantic city to hang out around the city. You go for the resorts beach/boardwalk and everything they have to offer. I'm an AC regular and it's a blast every trip, don't let anyone tell you any different.

Lodi has a dirty secret. It’s in the sky…. I was lucky to escape this place after living there for 5 years. In my opinion it’s one of the most miserable and poorly managed places in the state. Now I am in San Diego.

Thanks for showcasing NA, Kearny,, and Lyndhurst. If ever you get back to visiting here, I would love to see you showcase the two iconic RC churches - St. Stephen's in Kearny, and Queen of Peace in NA. Both have a rich history and are absouletly gorgeous. Get in touch if interested.

I lived there in 2014 as a student with J1 visa. We ware working at Atlantic Palace hotel that started to ruin at that time. I remember in that year the biggest casino (the fancy glassy one, from the boardwalk) failed and a lot of students ware left with no summer jobs. I also worked for three brothers pizza and they still have clients, I remember Maroon 5 concert that summer - was super nice. Older people ware complaining about the fall in the last years so it's been a long way actually...

Atlantic City has one of the most uniquely unsettling and depressing atmospheres of any of the coastal boardwalk town's in the state. Something about the contrast between the boardwalk and the rest of the city, just gives me heeby jeebies

The opening of ResortsWorld New York in Queens (NYC) in late-2011 was the ultimate death blow. Instead of taking that ride down the Jersey shore, almost everyone took the A-train the other way; and with it, that NYC revenue stream dried up for AC. 💸

This looks hopeless and forlorn. I recently saw The King of Marvin Gardens with Bruce Dern and Jack Nicholson and it takes place in 1970 Atlantic City when many of the old buildings still existed and they looked amazing and beautiful. I can't believe they tore down the old buildings and turned it into this ugly modern mess. Sad.

Being born and raised in Atlantic City it truly is sad to say the city went down hill big time. Definitely had some good memories there. and Even tho i didn't get to experience the AC lifestyle back in the day i still appreciate being able to say i spent my whole young life there and had so much fun ❤

This video is a bit half-baked....he's at the end of the boardwalk (southern side?)...Pacific is quite far down. There are a lot of lots in need (waiting for?) redevelopment. If he walked in the opposite direction, there would be a lot more open businesses on the street.

I walked by the building at 4:15 and there were 3 squad cars and many people coming out of the building at 10 am- prying away the wood. I feel like they all lived in there and the police were looking for someone specifically. This was 3 mins from the boardwalk filled with families. I am from Chicago and walk the West and South side all the time- and this was literally the worst thing I have seen in person besides a shooting of an off-duty police officer 50 feet from me in Chicago.

I grew up in Glen Rock in the late 60's and 1970's. Family moved away in 1978 (I was in 10th grade). I went to the little grade school down the block from the big Rock. So many memories.. The last name on the 911 memorial was my scout leader. RIP.

Get use to it, the pandemic pretty much ruined our cities. Now we have 4 more years of Trump the criminal. The Exton Mall is done thanks to Trump not handling the pandemic correctly. This country is doomed. Thanks Democrats and Republicans, thanks for ruining the country with your greed.
