Government is toxic and they don't exactly teach you during residency, most of the things are done on your own. They will just give you materials to study then proceed with a revalida randomly. Private hospitals have better and less toxic training. They teach more and do provide specific schedules for exams and revalida time to time. But, they pay less. Philippines just can't put both things together and it's sad!! I took surgery for 3 years and quit.

Can you clarify something for me? I get that you labeled one topic per day for the first 12 days, so day 1 was cardio and day 13 was cardio, in between they one and third 13 did you review cardio on day 3,4, or5?

i agree that having a good foundation in high school in your arithmetic and the sciences, as well as having a solid grasp of reading comprehension will make preparing for the NMAT less cumbersome. and of course, no prior learning will prepare you with inductive reasoning and perceptual acuity. you need to have the specific mock test to give yourself an idea with what you need to arm yourself with. a good friend shared with me a technique or two in dealing with these kinds of tests which helped me lots.

I am currently reviewing for the ALE exams here in the Phil. and I would like to humbly ask how you interleave the 1st repetition of the topics with other scheduled readings or practice tests for the day? Or do you only focus on blurting or reading the repeated topic for the day with no other review involved such as readings or practice tests? Just wanna add, those concepts or topic that often covered on prelims, and quizzes are most likely the ones that's high yield and would come out on exams. Remember exams are really hard for a reasons, one is that students mostly didn't know what topic/concepts would come out on exams (well this is just a perspective from a University student). BTW thank you so much this is a great help😊 now I can apply it along with Pomodoro, Feynman etc. learning strategies.
