WHY MY INVERTER IS NOT SHOWING THE SOLAR WIFI

Thanks for the creating this guide. It took me multiple attempts to get through step 1 even with correct modem wifi password. Although the inverter received a strong signal from my NBN modem, it would not connect to it. The LED light continued to flash. I repeated this step a few times with no success. I figured out there maybe incompatibility between the Inverter wifi and my modem. My modem is configured with both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. I tried changing the wifi channel in my modem and also disabled a feature called Smart-Connect. Finally, the inverter connected successful. I changed the channel back to auto as I realized 3 days after that my Ring doorbell got disconnected. Changing the channel back to auto did not upset the Inverter so that was not the issue in the first place. I had no issue in step 2 of the installation. In just a few minutes, the SEMS app started showing me the generated power. What I didn't get in the first week though was the load consumption. I bought the consumption monitor and it was installed by the contractor. The monitor LED lights were all off. I suspected that the installation may not have been done properly so I reported that to my PV system installer. Unfortunately, the company doesn't have available resource. I ended up ringing Goodwe Australia. The guy I talked to knew exactly the issue. He downloaded a new firmware to my inverter remotely. The download took just over 30min. Bingo, the problem was resolved. We could see the consumption in SEMS right after. I'm glad I bought the consumption monitor as it reports how much we consume and how much we export to the grid. I'm surprised that we are exporting around 60% to the grid and only consume less than 40% on average.

This and any other videos don't work when I try to connect. I type in the pass word 12345678 And say can not connect. Wrong pass word. Does say how to change. Tried many times. Same sh#t.

Crap ! Uselss as it doesn't show the consupmtion amount !

This App is crap it does not show you how much kwh is used at your house and does not show how much is going to the grid.

Hey Guys ... trying to get my head around the difference between the Sems Portal app and the "SolarGo" app both from goodwe. Additionally, trying to understand the difference between the wifi capability of the GoodWe 5kw inverter, and the Goodwe Consumption monitor that came with it Which one is doing what in the home, does one override the other or some such?

So how do I view usage?

How do i reconnect my inverter to my new router please, we had new router and the wifi on the inverter cannot be found and I wanted to connect it to my new router, the solar wifi is not visible to wifi and theres no light on the inverter and an orange light is flashing thanks

I can connect to my wifi and i see the wlan ip BUT once i disconnect the SMAxxxxxxxxx wireless conmection, the wifi doesn’t work
