I hope you enjoy and subscribe to watch our family's adventures. Most are camping trips to our National and State Parks through the years. Some are of trip tours taken in and out of the United States. Some are of family history and fun short trips. I have one playlist of my Dad's videos of my parent's adventures to Europe and beyond, and one of his US trip videos. These were converted to digital from tape format. He talks about the animals, science, and history of the area they visited.
Palouse Hills and Steptoe Butte State Park in Southeast Washington
When we left Glacier National Park, we drove west going through Idaho and then into Washington to view the Palouse HIlls. We stopped at Steptoe Butte State park to drive to the top. The road is narrow with no side guards. Scary to drive. But what a view of the Palouse HIlls from the top-well worth the drive. We stopped just before going to the top where the antennas were at a parking place, turn around.

We took a Blackfeet interpretive tour from the east side of Glacier National Park. The tour started at St. Mary Visitor Center parking lot and went west on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. Bus turned around a little bit past Logan Pass Visitor Center. It was cold and foggy all day. The tour was fun and interesting. We learned a lot about the history and landscape of the park. On our way to the park e...

We took a half day scenic float trip on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River on 9/11/2024 while we were on the west side of Glacier National Park. The river runs on the south boundary of Glacier National Park. It was a fun trip with a few surprises and a few class I rapids mixed in. We saw a mink swim across the river going to the park side,. No pictures though; it was too quick as it surprise...
Glacier National Park-west side

A fall trip to Glacier National Park after the entry pass date was off. The park was still busy, but not too bad. We had smokey skies the first couple of days from the west and cloudy skies with misty rain and fog the rest of the time. This is only the west side of the park. More to come. We drove up the Going-to-the-Sun Rd almost to Logan Pass. We had to turn around before that point though to...
Golden Spike National Historical Park

It was 1869, and two steam locomotives met at the site of the town Promontory, Utah. A golden spike was ceremoniously driven into the last railway tie. We stopped here in August on our way from Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone NP to Salt Lake City, UT. It was only open about an hour or so when we got there so we didn't do/see everything. We did see the 119 train leave. Sorry for the wiggles. Gran...

We stopped on a Princess cruise at Victoria, Canada on 9/22/2023. It was after dark when we arrived. We took a night excursion: "O Canada: Night Lights City Highlights." The guide gave us trivia questions with prizes. I knew the first question and won a magnet. They gave out a small goody bag of Canadian items when we left the bus. One was the magnet that you see on the first slide. Some of it ...

Lewis and Clark with the Corp of Discovery spent 3 months at this fort from December 1805 to March 1806. They built it on the Lewis and Clark River near now Astoria, OR. They were friendly with the local natives who often traded with them. They had plenty of game to eat on the south side of the Lewis and Clark River where they built their winter quarters. Nice video, LIKE ! ! !
I don't need any ground squirrels, thank you, but I'll turn in any eagle feathers I find. I don't want to go to prison!
I hadn't heard that about feathers until that person said it. Maybe it's out west mostly.
I thought I saw an animal on the rock but it was just some coloration. 2:19
Tripod and wind sock, for improved video quality.
Thanks for the tips.
Superb work dear ❤
Thank you.
On May 10 is the anniversary, there is a big celebration with lots to see and do!
Yes, I saw that on the NPS web site. Very interesting, fun living history day I'm sure.
do you suggest visiting alaska in early june or mid june?.
Depends on what you want to seel. The solar solstice is later in June. That was unique for us. You will not see northern lights in June. But you can stay up late and still be in daylight. Longer day to see/do things. The weather was good for us when we went June 20. Chilly, but not too cold in higher elevations. Sometimes even almost hot. Wild flowers were out and so were the animals. It didn't seem too crowded either. I hope this helps some.
I had a close-up of the eagle on flight
I think that was your picture. The only one I found
Nice band music
That is so awesome
It was beautiful
Jo's mom had a guitar that I played with some. It wasn't in good shape and I turned it down when inheritances were offered. Nicely preserved equipment. Things preserve well in the desert. I'm staying behind Harold
That was a good group at the park that day. We sat and listened for several songs. I still have my guitar. I liked the violin.
Pretty
I've never seen the lake from a boat
Thank you for visiting my country 🙏 please back soon😍🥰🙏🤗
Hope yinz had fun in the Burgh! Some nice looking shots in there, also love that train at the science center!
Very cool places!
Some of the shadows on the dunes looked very cool! The campground looked really nice too. Thanks
Agree. We picked a camp spot to look out at the dunes. Well worth it.
Arches NP is great!
Nice music for Bryce NP
Junior Ranger music
beautiful pictures at Zion NP
Thanks. It helps to have a blue sky.
Such a great backdrop for photography! Did the Indians play the guitars?
It looks cold. You should have hiked to the bottom and camped there!
nice video, looks fun.
Definitely Euopean
It looks like you had soooo much fun. Sooo much to see and beautiful country.
It's always good to remember people.
You had a lot of good pictures of people. I think I saw Harold in one of those Halloween scenes!
Where are the Hobbits?
Nice rendition of the song.
Why aren't you out swimming in the bay? Nice cliff pictures. Oh, just dive on in! You should have danced with them.
The song in the middle was a bit depressing but the castles looked really cool
I just put music from the show. It might have been the dragon song.
Nice music
Beautiful!
Giants Causeway looks like the same rocks on Hughes Mountain in Missouri.
Nice
all your music is good
Almost perfect!
Wow, that is great! Great job on the music and the slides
I'm glad you liked it.
I like the presentation and smoothness of the pictures.
lots of happy faces
Nice
Jo and I watched all your train shows tonight. What an amazing trip!
