most of the tumblers have the same set of keys, I guess you could call them tabs as well, they can be adjusted to fit the different keys. My VW had that same thing.

This isn’t correct, Boeing offered the 10 windows on each side on later models of the 747-100’s and the three window configuration could also be retrofitted to ten which was done in some cases. This aircraft always had the ten windows although some of the earlier BOAC aircraft had three windows (G-AWNB for example). Thanks for watching!

@@jefflovesjets8116 as of now, ABYC is in the current livery. Not sure why Gemini released it before Lufthansa painted it. Or Lufthansa delayed it repaint for some reason. Whatever the case may be, one of my favorite pieces.

I went today and missed the entrance to the parking, I drove to the arrivals level and they have another entrance down there. I parked right by the door on the arrivals level and it worked perfect!

This was the open house event so they are still using the existing terminals until the 28th when the first flights will transition to the new terminal. It is actually quite nice in person and the artwork warms the space significantly.

There is one hotel on the property close by, but there are about two dozen close by just off of airport property which are served by shuttle bus service and ride sharing and are about five minutes away.

@@jefflovesjets8116 I just don't understand why they can't just build a hotel ON THE PREMISES to make it easier for travelers who have their flights canceled. I think many other cities have hotels connected to the airport.

Denver is the same way, and I don't think too many people complain. Plus, NO ONE wants to live near an airport. It's a bit inconvenient, but if we had better transportation options, it wouldn't be so bad.

@@chrism70kc You're right, the Denver situation makes me feel a little better about it. But I bet most tourists take the train to Downtown Denver and that helps their impression. I think KCI should build its own short light rail to the nearby MO river and then have ferrys go back and forth to Berkeley riverfront every half hour, because building a rail system between downtown and KCI on land would cost several times as much as the airport itself. There's no way that would ever be feasible.

@@hankschrader7050 if a new international airport were to be built in JOCO, it would still be about as far away as KCI is from KCMO. And air traffic would be congested with New Century Air Center and JOCO Executive airport. Plus it would be noise considering there are lots of suburbs in the area. I live in Olathe so I would know.

@@taxiway207 They were planning on most likely transforming New Century into the new airport. Sam Brownback and others were working on the plans and that's when KCMO decided to act fast and build the new KCI. They didnt want JOCO to steal the revenue even though it technically should belong to them anyways since over 50% of KCI passengers are JOCO residents.

The entire KC metropolitan area population (14 counties and suburbs) is 2.3 million. 5 of those counties and suburbs are in the State of Kansas. Rest of them in Missouri.

No airline hubs here at KCI unfortunately.
