Thank you Paul! I am a few years into my career. I have been struggling with anxiety for a while now, so it’s been tough to overcome that. I have also been thinking about God’s will and how that may change my path in life and career, etc. definitely something to pray about! What has long lasting kingdom value and how should we be focusing on that as opposed to worldly gains is something present on my mind often.

@@lullinglavenderasmr9019 I have struggled with post traumatic stress, and anxiety which have been my ever companions since childhood, but I have improved my overall contentment by a huge factor even while encountering greater challenges since becoming a Bible believer by changing seemingly innocent habits. First, I read my KJV Bible daily, but on Saturdays, I make it my rest day and focus on anything that brings me closer to God and nothing else. Second, I established personal boundaries in such a manner that I’m no longer a people pleaser, but instead worry about what God thinks of me. And, when I say no to work, family, and friend invites to places on Saturday (as it's the Lord’s day), I mean: “no, I’m staying home to read my Bible, period, don't ask again.” Third, I no longer eat pork, watch inappropriate TV or internet, drink alcohol or listen to the worldly hip-hop I used to listen to. The fourth thing, I began praying at night on my knees. The fifth thing, I seek my answers from the Holy Spirit, The KJV Bible and Praying to God. That is, not from pastors, priests, teachers or bishops, but Jesus, The Holy Spirit and our Father in Heaven. Of course one should always listen and evaluate good information, but the attitude should be, the Holy Spirit will teach me, not Pastor John. Lastly, have few items and expectations, but make them of high quality. The same can be said of friends: You deserve quality friends, or people in your life; demand it.

@@paullambert6862 So sorry to hear that! Those are both very difficult things to work through, they can make life so much harder. Glad to hear you’ve set aside time to spend with God and have become disciplined in maintaining that structure. Do you feel like God lead you to make these steps, through a sanctification process, or, was it a decision you made a stuck with?

@@lullinglavenderasmr9019 About 5 years ago, I was aiming at rediscovering spirituality due to some spiritual dreams I encountered. In the process New Age (Gnostic), and Buddhism, seemed to make the most sense when it came to aligning with my science-based way of thinking. However, early morning apparitions, half asleep or awake dreams, increasingly had to do with Bible themes, and 2 of them were specific to Bible verses: Romans 12, and Jeremiah 5:29 and the rest pointed me to Esau, Isaiah, Daniel and Revelation, though it took five plus some years of deep Bible study to learn that they all connected to last day themes. However, some were direct answers to questions I posed to God whose answer I didn't necessarily like as they were convicting of things/habits/thought patterns I was doing wrong. So in short, I was trying to run away from the Bible hoping it was just an archaic book not to be taken literally as I thought it was boring and too restrictive, but God called me, corrected me and He is still correcting me, guiding me through the greatest challenge I have, "the inner me". I could go on, and on, but let it suffice that the more I studied the KJV Bible, the more I was transformed. And before you think I'm so weirdo old school King James only person, I will tell you I also put great effort into reading other "easy to read translations," but I keep coming back to the King James Bible

Hi Pamela! I’m so glad the videos help you to relax. I do know what you’re talking about in regards to the other sounds content. That is not my cup of tea either (I think I have misophonia-some sounds trigger a negative response for me), though it is interesting to see the wide array of content and sounds that relax people.

I don’t quite remember what was going through my mind then, but when I think about the verse itself “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬ I have recently been in situations that have caused me to examine why persecution comes, and make a decision on whether I am going to sit in the feeling of persecution or pray and persevere to gain a deeper relationship with God.

@@lullinglavenderasmr9019 yes thanx for sharing. I understood this might be related to personal experience. Such serious, difficult and same time important verses… I think it’s good that you not edit such things away. We all should take a deep breath at that passage actually.
