Raptor: Call Of The Shadows unboxing video of the Floppy (3 x 3.5) and the CD version! This is a great shoot 'em up game from back in the 90's, I was lucky to find them in new, unopened condition on eBay a few years ago. The floppy version of the box is not in the best shape as you can see in the video but it's still acceptable. The CD version box looks like it was just pulled out of a shelf in...

I think the Fluke and the Klein have the best tone, easily audible but not annoying. Cheers.

90DM610 mine has the same connection problem. This is probably their Achilles heel of this multimeter xD

Very interesting. Thanks for the video! I have the 90DM600 (same as the 90DM610 minus the temp reading -presumably) and continuity seems to be only slightly better from what you show here. Fluke 179 is great of course. Continuity of the Amazon 90DM150 (bought for 22,5 euros on Amazon de) also seems to be the same. I am tempted by the BM786 -or the BM867s/869s. I also use a Uni-T UT131D for basic stuff, it is very cheap here in Europe and also has CE marking.

I did have Uni-T many years ago, it didn't have continuity beep (very cheap). Once I started spending money on better tools I never looked back. The only thing I don't like from Brymen it's the color (red), so I got the blue one from EEVblog, really good, but for some reason I usually go back to my Fluke 179, specially when working with electronics. Thanks for watching!!

@@myOldPC-75 I gave away the Uni-T to a friend 😄 to check his car battery. Continuity is quite acceptable on this one, once the the probes are cleaned up with some alcohol. I like the 179 very much too, especially the "clean" rotation dial. The first one to grab, still. It's a pity that Fluke prices have gone so much up around here. I have been watching on YT a few reviews of Hioki multimeters as well, and these look nice too. Was looking for something with more counts though, and Brymen seems to be the king of value-for-money. So maybe I will try my luck with them. Thanks too!

@@GeorgeFL Where I live (europe) the Flukes also had quite a bump in price recently. They were already very expensive, but now it's getting silly, as most Fluke models are getting quite old and getting surpassed by the competition. For example, a 'simple' Fluke 115 used to cost about €220 here, about the same price as the (far superior in every way) Brymen BM869S, which costs €210 over here (these prices include tax). Now the cheapest Fluke 115 I can find is €270, whereas the Brymen BM869S still costs €210. If you're a consumer, I really don't see the point in buying a Fluke multimeter as Brymen pretty much always has a model that has the same or superior accuracy, functionality, safety and build quality for a fraction of the price of a fluke. Also Fluke's "lifetime" warranty (only available on their top tier models) isn't really lifetime; it comes down to 10 years or however long the model is still produced (the shortest one of those two). That's still longer than the competition, but if Fluke is 2 or 3 times the price, it doesn't make any sense. And the fluke 115 only has 3 years warranty....

@@mrpetit2 I am in Europe too and Flukes prices are crazy high now. Got the 179 new eight years ago and it was exactly half the price from what it sells now. Had a friend check 117 prices in Canada and it was the equivalent of ~220 euros. Here it sells for around ~330 euros. Very expensive. I agree it is probably better to buy a Brymen for value, although I find their (round) dials a bit cluttered with functions. Flukes are more intuitive in this regard. I hope the Brymens are reliable and hold their calibration well in the long(er) term, as I am sure it will be a bummer if something goes wrong with them.

The last one made me laugh 😂 that amazon meter is skipping a beat as it moves to a different range we all know flukes are on a different level regardless of the model but for me, the continuity function on the eevblog one is better because it has both audible and visual indication while also being as fast as the fluke thanks for the video I enjoyed watching it

That's right, but that tiny Aneng it's great for basic stuff. The Fluke is the one I use the most, it's just great. Second place is for the BM786.
