From my front porch in Joshua Tree CA one early morning in the summer. The bobcat was chillin on the rock when a pair of coyotes came up on it, bobcat held his ground and coyotes were scared of it and walked off.

Injector is flooding a cylinder or you have a dead cylinder.
it had new injectors and pump. I think it was low compression, pulled the engine and replaced it with a 4BT, way more power!

Ive got this same motor on an old asphalt paving machine. What would be the best way tuen manually try and turn this engine so I can try and break it free? Its been setting for about 8 years and seized up from setting. Was running when parked.
try marvel mystery oil soak on the pistons? Or wd-40 or similar?

I sold the Monster Ram and bought a V10 ram 1997 4x4, so watch for that in the future, basically stock now but want to do 37's on it.

That bumper was a weld it yourself kit on ebay, or you can buy them assembled, but I chose to save $$ and weld and paint it myself.

Do you run lockers bud? love this truck.
Stock LSD front and rear. Dont like them much, even after a rebuild the front did not work well and I would have to hold the brake to get over some obstacles, it was the LSD with clutches. The rear was torsion type, it works well on my 1997 V10. I would prefer air locker or E-locker.
Good to know, thank you. Swapping a cab/chassis 4:10 Dana 80 with factory LSD into my 2500 diesel and another 4:10 60 up front. Your truck was eating this up and now im a lil more excited knowing it’s just on LSD like my axles.

wow, thanks. It was a fun truck, I sold it and am building a 97 v10 right now, I wanted a little more power, the 5.9 was a bit slow

That gen the 1500's had a solid front axle, it was a Dana 44. He swapped in a Dana 60 though

Could you do a walk around and talk about what you did on the truck? I have a 60 and 70 in my driveway and about to swap them into a 99 Ram 1500. Figured since you have ran the setup explaining anthing that you would change or best way you think to set it up. Would appreciate it alot.
Planning on running 37s as well what gearing are you running? I was thinking 4.56 or 4.88.
I have 4.88 gears and 37s, works good. 5.5" lift, long arms in front, shackle flip in rear. Truck is looking for a new home.

@@003Blind shackle flip, no blocks. there are tapered shims to get pinion angle back. works great, no axle wrap in sand

Love the Monster Ram, 5.5" long arm lift, shackle flip, dana 60 and 70. Yeah it wheels just fine, flex is crazy

King shocks with 2.5" lift. Rear mechanical locker, no ATRAC. Yep, this FJ came without locker or ATRAC or compass
Anybody got the starter motor part number for this engine , we’ve got a twin drum stothert and Pitt roller minus it’s starter motor ! And need a part no for one , thanks
I like that dust collector sweep. I'll seriously consider using one of those for my Foley-Belsaw planers (I have two). You could stand to shift one knife to the side a little. These old planers are well worth hanging onto. I'd rather have one any day instead of a lunchbox planer.

I'd pull the plug and see what your oil looks like it could be your bottom end making that noise.
