Nerf Sentry Gun Testing, part 2
This second video is more testing, showing it from a different perspective.
A Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 Blaster attached to a wooden turret that uses a wiimote to automatically point itself at an infrared light source (the light on a remote control in this video).
This was part of a design your own project for ME191 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
the turret had troubles turning left and right, the stepper motor we used for that part turned out to be too weak

Robotics Class: "Lord of the Rings" Challenge

The challenge was to build a team of two robots, that one (or both) could pick up a stack of rings and place it on a pole or place it on a pad in the middle of a large pit of marbles for double the points. I got really stressed out during the competition and didnt do too well with our robot (Hercules). Our defensive robot (Stalin) performed really great.

@GuilB3 , i'm not sure of the mathematics behind it, perhaps it is dumb luck, but in the mini models i made, the movable weight tended to make the projectile fly farther.

How does a disc plow compare to a rototiller? Do they do the same job? The reason I'm asking is because I am looking to start my first food plot next spring for deer hunting and the plot I'm looking to do is only like 1/4 - 1/2 acre big and also what equipment will be better to make a plot that size I'm doing.

about 30 m away? .5 m diameter target. What type of projectile? needless to say, repeatability is one thing. hitting the target dead on is another. nice shot.
