Acceptance of what's beyond our control, empathy towards others, maintaining integrity, and using disrespect as a tool for personal growth are powerful lessons. Forgiveness and staying focused on our path amidst challenges are keys to inner strength and peace. Thanks for the insightful video!

I've recently realized that the thirst for or expectation of respect from others is a huge factor of weakness. And addressing disrespect logically without anger is strength beyond what we're guided to believe.

Do both exist? Sure. Are both present in a systemic way? Not really. While there is bias against men when it comes to parental rights & child custody in much of the West (specifically the U.S.), it is a stretch to say that there is an entrenched, legalized bias against men in any other capacity. That said, I would also point out that cultural ideas around gender rolls can & often do hurt people from all walks of life and of different genders, which I feel is evident in that it hurts the whole of society. We make it unnecessarily hard and often emotionally & psychologically damaging when we hold a man to a specific idea of what they OUGHT to be rather than give him the liberty to explore that for himself. And I feel that this also goes for women, trans folks, agendered persons... everyone.

It seems to me that it is not the same ship. Same as a person changes over time, we retain a resemblance of our former self but no one would suggest an adult is identical to their childhood self. If you could reassemble all the cells that once formed the infant version of you, it would be as an identical twin, but definitively not the same person.

Yeah it is the same ship Lets use your neurons as analogy Your neural network preserve your memories via pulses of electricity Do you exist only when those electrons are moving? Iets say someone bludgens your head and you lose those memories are you you Lets say you lose your memories for a long time build a new life but get them back Are you you? Lets go deeper We know that electromagntic fields effect electron movment If a person is subjected to a huge magnatic field is he he The answer to all of these is yes Because human nature is not simply material

Just as we give a name to the collection of parts that we call “ourselves”. The truth is we are all one with the universe and the same entity.
