In the intro Brittany comments about how little people know about koalas and then about a minute later she shows her IGNORANCE too !!!!!! It is a SHAME Aussie Brittany Alden who IGNORANTLY refers to koalas @1:04 as a "TEDDY BEAR" like creature which encourages others to call them INCORRECTLY BEARS which they are NOT BEARS !!!!!! 99% of Aussies do NOT know Koala Infants and names "JOEYS" . Aussie wildlife marsupial "babies" would you please use their correct name "JOEYS" . There are about 250 Australian Marsupial species (and 120 marsupial species in South America & ONE in North America)) Like all marsupials their infants are called joeys......... Wombats, koalas, numbats, possums, gliders, quolls, taste tiger, marsupial wolves (extinct), quokka, bilby, bandicoot, pygmy possum. Deborah Tabart OAM who Founded in 1988 & is the CEO of the Australian Koala Foundation (AFK). Internationally she is known as the Koala Woman. The EXCEL Award is the association’s highest award given to a non-member, and recognises individuals who exhibit strong leadership in fostering excellence in organisational communication. It is the first time the Award has been presented to a woman, and an Australian. The award is in recognition of Deborah’s dedication during the past two decades to conserving the koala and it habitat. Great documentary! It is so sad that there are so many threats to these beautiful, totally lovely animals. Thank you so much for the help and wonderful engagement of people at the koala hospitals, koala carers and koala lovers 💕

Amazing informative video thank you for making this and giving an invite into crooked corruption and greed that is really the cause of koala populations dwindling. Your government has a lot to answer for. Damn the property market investors killing off community and our animals all for profit. The Australian people must fight to save these beautiful animals. I hope you come together and fight the loggers to finding preventative measures against such catastrophic bush fires. Unfortunately I don’t think your government really cares because of the valuable land these animals habitats sit on. Disgusting people. They should be named and shamed. I pray for all the animals to repopulate and recover along with their forest homes 🙏🏼

Australia needs to do more to help these Koalas to remain intact. With so much money they bring to your Country they deserve to be taken care of. Stop building homes in their habitat. 😭😭😭

Queensland locals just won a case to stop a development of their habitat. We are trying.

Well, we want it all, with no freaking sacrifice... Makes me sick that people actually still believe these greedbags when they say we still need to be dependent on coal, oil, and gas. How sick would it make you if it could have ended over a century ago when Nikola Tesla unlocked the keys to a breakthrough in science and math, changing our lives forever? Certain people would have lost their power though wouldn't they? Yes, people with souls black enough that they would jeopardize the existence of humanity, do exist. The proof is out there, and it doesn't take long to find either. You just have to have an open mind and really want to know. And you must have to want to know for yourself, not to just prove someone else right or wrong. We've all been manipulated to believe image is everything, and spend all day everyday, competing with each other, and watching TV programs where we pick a side and root for another human being's life to be destroyed, whether they seem to deserve it or not... This isn't up for debate, I'm just trying to help others to understand, because to me, no one is better than anyone else, and all life is important. Anyway, good job on your documentary. Prepare yourself though, the more you seek the truth, the worse it becomes... For example, think of the worst act humans have committed, and five years or so down the line, you'll likely look back and think of that, to be like a petty crime compared to what you've learned since then... It's true what they say, "Ignorance is bliss." The things I know now? I sometimes wish I didn't...

it would have been nice to live in 1900 when the hunters in australia hunted the koalas and skinned them alive and then put them back on the trees for a future gain lol
