One day, Sonic and Tails were flying around in the Tornado trying to find some new places to adventure to. They found a place called Angel Island. Sonic wanted to check it out and told Tails to fly over to it. Once they landed, they found Eggman bombing the island and capturing little critters. Sonic and Tails found a mischievous echidna named Knuckles. (& knuckles xd) Knuckles told Sonic that Eggman stole the Master Emerald. The thing that keeps Angel Island afloat. They teamed up to try and stop Eggman from terrorizing Knuckles' home, but he had already caused too much damage. All the little critters were trapped inside robot bodies, the entire island was in flames, and Eggman Land was just around the corner. Sonic and the gang couldn't do anything about it. Not even with the 7 emeralds' power.
