love the ai voice!...it is right? love Valkyries.
HA HA .. No AI Voice. Its My real voice.
Are you interested in another restoration? I have a nice 2000 Valkyrie Interstate, but I would like it brought back to showroom floor quality. Thanks
Due to declining health, its been sitting a while and needs work again. Spread the word if you know anyone interested because its for sale.
@ Sorry tohear that… what kind of work and how can I get ahold of you directly?

You have the best s.oker narrator voice!! You should work for the discovery channel!!! Thank you for the kick ass video be safe brother
This is one of the nicest Valkyries I have seen yet. Fabulous job brother.
Music City Bar loves Eddie London!!!!
Marty stoffers "wild goldwings"
if I tried to paint outside like this I would end up with it full of dirt, leaves, sticks, cat prints and bird shit.
I was certainly lucky, but it came out perfect! It was early in the year and there wasn’t a bug or spec of anything anywhere.
This ballad has that after midnight vibe to it. I like this song.
I am so glad I lived thru these times! The joy of being a kid and hearing Roberta Flack or Bill Withers on the radio for the first time... 🌞
what a great project, you must be really proud of the result. wonder how many hours you put in, nevertheless the result is truly amazing.
What a great story telling voice!
You created a work of Art 👍
Amazing
Wow.. what an incredible job, and oh how much better it looked in blue (my opinion). The real winner was the buyer of such a lovingly restored bike.
Wow…amazing job….im so impressed…..I wish I knew you personally…..I have an 83 aspencade… I’m orig owner….bike still runs great….. parts are a problem but always find somewhere online used…..having the same bike for 40 years is not the norm but I just could not part with it….. I grew up riding her….i have had other wings during this time including a new 24 automatic I just got 2 weeks ago….but when I get on my 83 I am 25 yrs old again…what a feeling…. Thanks for the video….you were awesome
I've been a Valkyrie fan since 1999 with a 97 standard in yellow & black. My buddies called it the school bus or "The Bus" for short. I bought it used with 750 miles on it. Rode that bike everywhere from Nova Scotia to Sturgis and back and let it go in 2014 when we stepped up to a Victory Cross Country Tour. Two years later stepped up to an Indian Roadmaster which in my opinion is the Grand Poohbah of long-distance touring comfort and style. Always regretted letting my Valkyrie go. So.......Monday I pick up my day tripper and long weekender, a mint 2003 Valkyrie Standard with 22K. You have done a tremendous job with that restoration and the end result is a testament to your skill, patience and always keeping your end goal in focus. Now as for your choice of background music......you hooked me with Dreams I'll Never See!
What a GOOD FRIEND and a killer bike, one of the best bikes ever made, and that's NOT an opinion, it's a FACT. It's a GoldWing Cruiser, so it's the best bike ever made. EDIT : This isn't just a restoration like I imagined, this is a complete REBUILD from every nut and bolt. This is a BRAND NEW bike now and you friggen' RULE !!! AND you like The Outlaws !!!!!
Thanks for the comment and for checking out my video. The bike is partially disassembled again now as I rework the sound system, De-smog and replace the rear tire.
Nice work 😎👍
Hi from Texas. New Subscriber. This is the most incredible Bike Video I have seen yet on UA-cam. Your like a Master Mechanic, Master Painter, and Electronics Expert, all Rolled into one. I have a Question, what did you Spray the Wheel Rims with after you Sanded them? Everything about the Bike looks better than brand new. I would love to have all your Skills and Confidence to completely Tear my Bike completely down to the Frame and Redo it better than New. Absolutely Incredible Job. Thanks for bringing us along. I’ll definitely be checking out your other Videos.👍👍❤️
I painted the cutout areas with the gunmetal gray metallic Urethane.
Promo'SM 🤗
Beautiful job. How did you get the engine cases so shiny?
Urethane paint and clear coat.
I'm 56 and I have owned 7 big street bikes. Hands down the Honda Valkyrie is the biggest, smoothest, torquiest, badass motorcycle ever made. 101 horse in 100 ft lb at the wheel. Get the center carbs tunes because they're lean, for emissions, and throw in a 7° timing wheel. Then open up that stock exhaust just a little, andyou get 120 + at the rear wheel. The only negative ever found about that bike is that it needed one more gear. Thirty-five hundred RPMs at 75 on the interstate. A very underestimated bike. The front tire on my bike was two sizes larger than the old man's Harleys on the rear. We can drop off at 10 inch curved with no problem. Yet it's still nimble enough to drag the pegs, in the twisties.. I actually took my license test on that bike, while everyone else was borrowing little bikes to take the test on.
I love what you did with that underlighting and trunk "Flux Capacitor"! Thanks for sharing all of your hard work on this project. The Valkyrie looks and sounds amazing and, I'll bet, rides even better!
It looked nice,before...
Your buddy Scooter is smiling at ya from beyond
Now that's a labour of love!!
Love the "May/May not" get hit by a hurricane graphic!
Awesome !!
I just bought a 1981 gl1100 today as my first bike. needs some tlc. but im excited to start the restoration process
nice choices, i cringed at the blue, but when finished TOTALLY SOLD, GREAT JOB!
I'm surprised you were able to part with her after putting so much work and love into this bike the new owner is a lucky man
Wow great story and you did a great job not once but twice much respect brother
Julie. Remember me I was living with leann from ledges corner. Had the black Camaro.
hey mate, ive got one. loooved your videos. i have two issues. my 2000 needs a new radio display. where do I find one? any ideas? also, i need my handle bars raised. do you know of any risers that could work?
many will see this as genius, me included
Awesome
another vanity project. The music sucks too.
Nice job restoration this beast to it days of glory. I have a 1999 for about 5 years now and is ny 3rd bike and I can't see myself changing it for another. I have a question about the lower fairings! Can these lower fairing by the radiator be outfit with speakers? I am considering buying them but I will like to know that before I buy then. Thanks
I thought about it, but didn’t because they take on so much heat from the engine and are open to water in bad weather and washing. They are not sealed on the back side, so I don’t think speakers would last long.
@@earcandyengineering6389 thank you so much that is a good reason not to. Therefore, I won't either. 8 hope you still riding your Dragon
Most beautiful Valkyrie Interstate on the 'net by far. Great job!!
1997-2003. Excellent job.
THANKS! GREAT VIDEO.
It is a wonderful documented project, and wish to learn more from you
You got rid of the wrong bike in my opinion but I understand why.
Great work brother, I own a 1998 Valk with 22,300 miles on the clock and it is immaculate. These bikes are a work of art,and they own you. Been round bikes for the best part of 50 years and my baby is without doubt the best bike I have ever had the pleasure of being able to ride, the amount of people who come over to look and take pictures of her is always welcome. Had her 4 years now and l still get excited when I even so much as look at her in the garage.
Any insight on the carburetor success? What manual/info source did you use to guide you through assembly? I have an '83 Interstate and it'll run if I have the throttle engaged but it won't idle. Do I need to have the air intake completely installed on the carb? I kept the air intake filter box off to more easily remove the carb.
SWEEET !
I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO SEE MORE OF THE ENGINE WORK : I Picked Up One Recently and I Figured That The Fuel System is Pretty Much Step one. I Want to Get it Running Before I Do Much of Anything Else !
I didn’t do a lot of engine work. Removed the heads for painting. Replaced head gaskets, timing belts, starter and rebuilt carbs. I also replaced clutch on the first restoration. I didn’t replace any rings or bearings inside engine. Never split the engine block. I did a complete overhaul years ago on a 1981 CB 900 custom. I’m not gonna do that again unless I have to.
Great Job.
Respect ! 👍
Wow man your voice is amazing 👏 hahahaha!! Then the credits roll and you did a bunch of the music too and the restoration was great to watch. Wow I am thoroughly impressed!! Great job!! Also that Valkyrie is awesome too!
