Those men were thinking about the ball game starting, going to eat, or something other than a message about the opposit of what they were doing by going up to the front of the church to try and force a stop to the teaching and preaching of God's word. Jesus was in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights, just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale for 3 days and 3 nights. Jesus did not rise on "Sun"day morning. Jesus was crucified on Wednesday and rose on Saturday. The catholic pagan good friday to Easter / Ishtar "Sun"day is not 3 days and 3 nights as the bible states, which is a full 72 hours total. Do the math. Friday afternoon until "Sun"day morning is not 72 hours. In Genesis, it says that the days are to be counted from evening to evening.

Catholicism has the comma in the wrong place. It should read as follows: "I tell you TODAY, thou shalt be with Me in Paradise " Jesus was telling the repentant thief TODAY, meaning that He was TELLING him, NOW, this very day. Jesus did not go to paradise the same day as He died on the cross. He was in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights. If Jesus told the thief that he would be in paradise that very day, then that would mean that the thief went to heaven before Jesus did and that is NOT BIBLICAL!

Yes the parable of the Fig Tree is 1260 days thought you all might find this interesting. Was studying in luke 21 and Matthew 24 and realized Jesus repeated the 1260 days, 3 times in a row. When Rome surrounded Jerusalem the Israelites had three and a half years before their final destruction would come. This event is a representation of the enacting of a Sunday law Tiberius Caesar surrounded Jerusalem in the spring of 66 AD he retreated and came back for their destruction three and a half years later in 70 AD. This is what Jesus was referring to "if you see the armies of Rome surround the city flee to the mountains." luke 21:20 And the spirit of Prophecy states this connection. “Not having a "Thus saith the Scriptures" to bring against the advocates of the Bible Sabbath, they will resort to oppressive enactments to supply the lack. Luke 21:24 What is the time of the gentiles in which they shall trodden the sanctuary under foot? Judgment begins at the house of God 1st Peter 4:17. The sealing time comes upon those who know better at the enacting of a Sunday law. The Gentiles who know not better have time for the truth to be preached to them. This is the final 1260 days before probation closes for Earth. And Revelation 11 says exactly that... "And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; when they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand." Luke 21:29‭-‬30 What is the Parable of the Fig tree? "Then he told this parable: A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’ “ ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’ ” Luke 13:6‭-‬9 A fig tree blossoms ever 6 months or twice a year im warmer weathered climates, so especially in Israel. One in fall and one in summer. So the harvest time of the Fig tree is ever 6 months.... If the dresser had been looking for 3 years for the fig tree to produce fruit. And he was to wait one more season for the fig tree. That wouldn't be 4 years it would be 3 years and 6 months years or 1260 days. When God carries his church Into the Wilderness upon the wings of eagles for 1260 days this is when the Sunday law comes. Just As Ellen White is pointing us to the same in scripture that we may understand..... "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." He says flee to the mountains when the abomination of desolation is set up according to the prophet Daniel. (let the reader understand) Which the abomination of desolation is the uniting of church and state to enact a Sunday law in America. When Jesus States this event, he repeats the 1260 three times in a row in connection to it! To recap we have the 1260 days of Rome surrounding Jerusalem. We have the 1260 days of the time of the Gentiles to trodden the sanctuary underfoot. And the 1260 days of the parable of the fig tree.
