At the price of new mower I see a lot of new engine will be installed this year
Your video came in handy. I'm doing an engine swap this April. I love your shop and the lift that you are using is "bad to the bone". It would make the job a lot easier on tall old guys like me... LOL 😆.I hope the clutch that I'm dealing with comes off a lot easier... but more than likely it will not... Thanks for the video.
Thanks. Much appreciated
I used a combination of pry bars. Lady's foot, 12" standard along with some pin point heat where safe. It took about 30 min why not in video.
What kind of "persuasion" did you use on the clutch? I'll be replacing the Intek on my Deere Z-trak in a couple of months. I have everything set in my mind on how to do it, except how I'll handle it if the clutch is seized on the shaft.
Start spraying it with liquid wrench now so it has time to work, spray every day
Merry Christmas Be safe winter is here again
You as well. Merry Christmas
I'm wondering if yinz do warning light installs regularly? Why I ask is it seems as though the front light was mounted in a matter that really would only alert air traffic. It should have been mounted in a way that it face forward on a level plain. Then the light you installed on the rear. The lift light looks to be vertically straight up & down and the left definitely not. If this was your own mower it would be fine because as long as you don't care about these things whatever. But if you were doing this for a customer I'd bet they will not be a repeat customer.
So how well did it work?
For a commercial mower it's better than nothing. On a residential mower works well.
