I love that you love the Dreaming Way backs! Everyone rags on them but I think they are really pretty! Its funny, my tarot practice/collecting has slowed...in favor of my love and collecting of Fountain Pens. I guess stationary, pens, journaling and tarot go really well together. I got the Tantric Dakini a few months ago and I love it, but I have gotten so many decks lately that I haven’t found the time to really sit with it. I have deck overwhelm at the moment, but I am going to study it when things calm down. We are going to have to talk fountain pens one of these days! I have so many. I just inked up a Monte Grappa that I haven’t used it ages, and I pulled out my favorite Conway Stewart to play with.

I am so thrilled to see your response! I own the Voyager Tarot as well, and I never knew the significance of the backs! I love the maximalist nature of the symbolism. I didn't catch the name of the next deck you showed with the barcode and the tiny TdM on the minors (I watched this before the CC was ready and my hearing it terrible 😂), but I ADORE it. I love to see the patterns that TdM forms, so it's a nice touch to have so many different ways to see connections between the cards in the imagery itself. Thank you for sharing! 💗💗

Thanks very much for sharing your finding about the name of some artworks. I also find so lovely this desk, and allows me to interpret freely. For instance number four, Napoleon on a horse toy, I think that the rational mind moves like the swing horse, but doesnt takes us anyplace. When I see the Chariot, it remembers me the holy family feeing to Egipt. It a journey !! It fun just to look al them and make assotiations. As you said I also love the snail as the hermit, ir the two headed twins an the hangman, the are tied to each other, so their movements are limited. It have been a pleasure to listen to you.

I think you nailed it on the personality of this deck! A deck that wants to do the work and look at the tough stuff, but also wants the work to be fun and inspiring. You can’t take yourself too seriously all the time. Those were my exact intentions when I was creating it. I’m glad you are enjoying it. Really fun interview spread. I love your fountain pen too. As you asked for fun tags, there is something like rating 10 decks blindly, and so far, people doing it seemed to have a lot of fun with that one. I think Silvia ( @fairlighttarot ) started it. I think the Osho looks great with the Symbolic Soul. I would try to pair the deck with something you already have, really try unlikely pairings, sometimes they fit astonishingly well. Probably something not too busy, and maybe bringing in a mood or atmosphere by colour... something like sacred creators, color mage, sacred symbols or some chakra deck. Or something cheeky ... morgan's tarot, or rainbow skull ? However, it's totally ok to not pair a deck. Back then pairing a deck wasn't a thing, and the readings were just as profound. So if you don't have a good match, instead of buying another deck, you could find a special spread or activity for that deck, that doesn't "call" for a pair.

Ohh I love the Symbolic Soul Tarot 💜 I feel the same way with the pairing aspect of it, and most of the time I end up using it by itself. I think the Reclaim Oracle might be a nice one to pair with (though I haven't tried it myself) but your pairing is a good one too! The black edging you did is amazing ✨✨✨
