What’s the purpose of this cage around the welder? You could have just used tool boxes on the bed, and lead reels on the welder? 🤷🏾♂️🤔🙎🏾♂️
cowboy welders with that hip hop flava
innovative!
Very nice!
What Miller welder is that?
You should weld them curls out your beard. Who do you think you are some type of philosophical welder.
Is that supposed to be a compliment
What state are u in?

That layout is taking way too long. I'm out of breathe for today
I am glad you found a faster way , please feel free to share with everyone thanks in advance
Where in pittsburg are you guys located?
You should talk about how you calculated the amount of material you removed to make the bends….
First you have to have the angle and the position where you will make the bend. In this point, make a line square with the face of the steel beam, then with a steel protractor, make an angled line with the first one. With this, in the opposite side make another angled line with the first one. In the end you will have a isosceles or maybe an equilateral triangle where the first line that you have drew it's the triangle's height. You have to pay attention where the three line joint. This point will be offset from the beam's face, with a offset equal the thickness of the beam. Without this, you will have a large gap to welding. With practice you will learn to control the amount gap you want.
That’s awesome…. I wanna see how you did the pie cuts
You’re a shop gopher! Until you are out in the field working the iron you ain’t shit 💩
I am not just a welder I am in the shop local 790 ironworker union , I am aMaster Machanic , crane operator, forklift operator, backhoe operator, skidsteer operator, I am the production supervisor and coordinator, I am a steel erector and I also have my own c51 contractor license don’t know if that makes me just a welder
According to Wikipedia an ironworker is a tradesman who works in the ironworking industry .ironworkers, assemble the structural framework in accordance with engineered drawings and install the metal support pieces for new buildings. They also repair and renovate old structures, using reinforced concrete and steel workers may work on factories, steelmills, and utility plants.
This guy is a shop welder
I’m not only a shop welder but I’m a fitter master mechanic crane operator, forklift operator backhoe operator skid steer operator production supervisor coordinator. I even got my C 51 structural license contractors license. I’m not only a shop local 790 iron worker,Union shop

Nice job!👍
Cool video! Thanks for taking the time to show some of the tools you use to go mobile!
Thanks for showing how you came up with angles!
That looks good!! What gauge thickness is that? And what are the dimensions of the C channel?
Buen equipo amigo
Truck looks great and wish you the best of luck!
I welded for 45 years. Am retired now. I always had a job. Had enough $ to be married and raise two beautiful kids. Welding is a great job. A new adventure everyday. I learned the secrets to threaded pipe fitting too. I ran many hundreds of feet in chemical plants, papermills, hospital boiler rooms. Did this on top of ladders and scaffolds. Not one leak. Met lots of great people, some not so great. Over all, I enjoyed the journey.
@@petersipp5247 thanks for sharing Pete
You're a welder. Not an ironworker

Amen to that Brother
Do you mind if I ask please what this project for and what’s your hourly rate? Just curious I’m out of California looking to start a company in the next couple years. Thank you God bless
Nice job send us some more videos as you go along
He wishes he was in TX
Looking good
maybe check with your local pressure washing companies and you could land a job to build an aluminum skid setup for their truck and equipment- It pays $4500+ here on the east coast.
Very well done, sir! Beautiful work.
Hola una consulta cuanto esta ganando un soldador en california ,en la actualidad
I'm trying to get in but damn is it hard any suggestions? I went to the union hall but they said I need a sponsor and I can't find one 😕
Do u have to be certified to do Mobile welding
Does the bobcat 250 have plenty of power to run the 141
Good stuff. Just curious though, if the first Miller Bobcat you had didn't give you any trouble and was great, why sell it? Nice set up
Hi and thanks for watching, the reason I sold it was because I had it in Mexico I went to live down there for 8 years but it started getting dangerous so decided to come back and I sold everything 👍
Saludos Dotollll
David y Goliat jiji que dijoooo
Got my JIW in 1982 and things sure have changed. We didn't tie off, wear respirators or have man lifts. We always worked with a partner and in Detroit (25) back then all overtime was double time. We took care of the old timers and the men that attended our union meetings. We didn't work in the rain or the extreme cold and we always had five men whenever we worked with a crane. Retired since 2010
We still operate that way in local 40 nyc except of the tie offs and occasional man lifts
