I remember during my summer holidays when I was 12 I would watch this scene once every day because I loved it so much. I just finished an FMAB rewatch and this scene is still spectacular. As you've pointed out, the swell in the music, the superb voice acting, the stunning animation and genius dialogue make this scene one of a kind. Riza is one of my all time favourite characters and watching her let loose in this scene upon my first viewing is a core memory for me. So glad I get to watch someone else geek out about this as much as I have for the past 15 years!!! Wonderful video, big fan ❤

Fantasy isn't reality, but I really hope to one day find someone as awesome as Riza. It's a high bar, and compromise is far more realistic, but having someone you trust and can do/say anything to without any hesitation... it's a kind of vulnerability that becomes a super power. Just thinking about someone like that makes you feel calm and good and focused, even warm when it's blisteringly cold everywhere else. You find the truly best parts of human nature and love in spite of everything else, and the few glimpses you have when those relationships fail are dangerously intoxicating as a memory. But you can hope one day you find the love that sticks with you or returns back to you.

Agree with the point but that kiss was more Crowley not really as much Azeriphale. There are plenty of scenes were we see their compassion and love for one another. for example, after Azeriphale accidentally goes to heaven and comes back for Crowley. then when Crowley sees Azeriphale he starts crying because he thought someone killed him. This scene shows Crowleys love by crying when he sees Azeriphale and admits that their ‘friends’. But also Azeriphales by going against heaven by returning (the thing that his entire life/porpoise was based on) and literally going back to earth without a body or anything. It shows both their love for each other. there are many other senes but this is the one I just love and what came to mind. (Sorry for any grammar or spelling mistake)

Because aside from his acting (prodigious, wonderful), and his singing here (charming because it's his voice, imperfect but skilled), LITERALLY HOW DOES HE LOOK GOOD WITH EVERY HAIR COLOR?! (Aussie here). Side note- Casey Donavan plays Dolores and she is a very well-known Aussie singer- spectacular.

i’ve seen a good chunk of david’s tennant performance (including seeing macbeth live) and as someone in the theatre community, that man can ACT. his range is incredible and he’s good at everything in that range! the difference between him acting with characters like the doctor and campbell to characters like crowley or alec to acting as himself in staged?! and his performance in macbeth was gorgeous, his acting was so jaw dropping in person, he could play with the love, paranoia, and anxiety with such ease it was enthralling!!! i honestly could go on about this man’s acting and how he is just so so talented and natural!!
