Kylidge McNally
Приєднався 30 лип 2022
Hey! I am Kylidge, a third generation cattle rancher from southern Saskatchewan. I am currently studying Animal Science Technology, Majoring in Beef Cattle at Lakeland College in Vermilion, AB.
We raise commercial Angus and Hereford cattle on our operation, and grow all of our own feed. My videos take a look at what "just another day" on our ranch is like.
I have been making UA-cam videos since 2016, and this is actually my second account as my first account "KyFarmerman" got shut down by UA-cam.
So enjoy the ride and maybe you`ll learn or see something new out of the deal.

I think you went to parts of the property I have never seen you go before. Have you ever asked the bloke who does the bee keeping if you could have a go at bee keeping? Something different to do.
Yeah some of it would look new since I was touring around on the gravel pit pasture that we just started renting this year. He offered that I could come along and see the bees so I might do it one day.
Our hay is looking good this year...but its late...july abd not even blooming yet
Wowee. I finally started cutting today. It’s go time in this corner of the world
Thanks for sharing another weekly video update Kylidge! Good looking hay. Good looking cattle too! Our local hay in southeast Iowa looks pretty much the same. Corn is really taking off now too. No tasseling yet, but the plants look really good! Independence Day for us is this coming Thursday, July 4th. Have a great week ahead! Appreciate you sharing this with us! Mark in Iowa.
Thanks!
Always plenty of things to do! We used garlic powder for the horses for years. Last year, we tried it on a small group and calves that were in a pen by themselves. We noticed a difference! Started with garlic salt for everyone this year. Done some changes last week. Using a different mineral with salt in it and adding the garlic to it. A little test, one section of just mineral, one with garlic in it. They have eaten more of the garlic. Now to keep them on it all the time. Have a good one Ky!
Good to know it works!!
3:42 but... yeah, so... 💁🏼♂️ Don't hold your phone while driving, please.
Looks like a Great All - around experience …Educational, Social, Scenic, Fun, Memories and Friendships made. Good video! Thanks for sharing!
Looks like nice scenery down south definitely would mind driving down that way sometime
I really enjoyed watching that the scenery was amazing. I wish you would've shown the border crossing from Canada into the US and back again that would've been amazing to see. Did you forget to serve your car before you left? I hope the transmission didn't course too much hassle. The montage at the end was also great to watch. Great choice of songs also.
I serviced my pickup before the trip, don’t worry. It’s been working good . The border crossing isn’t a great time to film, especially when I got my entire vehicle and all my luggage fully searched on the way home…
Looks like a fantastic trip ...thanks for sharing
Yep! This video was absolutely worth watching Kylidge! Come back and visit when you can! You’re welcomed with open arms! I really want to see more of Wyoming and what I can of Montana too! Mark in Iowa. PS. I got some great screenshots too! Mark.
Great vid!!! Be one I will review many times!!! Yes the connections with people is priceless!!!
Thanks!
Nice part of the world. Been through both a few times. Really like the Buffalo Bill museum at Cody Wyoming. Have the largest gun collection in the world I believe. Lots of nice country to look at.
That was a neat museum indeed
looks like a great trip.. always good to see other people and how they operate.
Indeed
YES! So happy you could visit us in the States! I’ve not been to Montana yet, but I’ve been across Wyoming several times! Wyoming is a beautiful state to visit and even live in! Low costs of everything in Wyoming! Really happy for you Kylidge! I would like to visit Montana one day! Mark in Iowa USA!
I can’t wait for this week’s video from the trip!
It’s gonna be mintyyy!!!
Have a nice trip your hay crop is coming along nicely
Glad to hear you been getting rain in your area. We got two inches Monday/Tuesday last week and it raining again today. We need some sunny hot days for a while but no-one is saying no to the moisture. Enjoy your trip to the U.S. The first thing you will find out is how expensive everything is with our dollar being so low.😮
U.S. stuff is cheap!
Post puller looks pretty cool. 👍
I hope you enjoyed or are enjoying your holiday road trip and the convention down in Montana and the other states you might visit or have visited. You should consider coming to Australia for a holiday and visiting one of our cattle stations and also see how farming is done here although I don't think it'll be all that much difference. The state I live in has the biggest cattle station in the world.
Hi from Wyoming tonight!
Hey nice sweater 😃👍👍
Did you rip a mud flap off lol been there couple times
Not this time!!
Ya the walk of shame for the Saskatchewan yank unit!!!!
When you send it just a little too far…. We have all been there a time or two.
That trailer looks pretty decent...good find, layton
It must get difficult sometimes working out in those conditions, especially if the weather is cold and nasty. Anyway, I hope the weather gets better for you, Kylidge, sooner rather than later.
It has been nice as of lately indeed , not always glamorous but usually fun!
Good luck with the fence repair. Be safe.
Thanks, Will do!
Good morning, kylidge. We've had frozen rain - snow pull staples out of posts. If the wire has snapped under the weight, its possible coyotes or dear have pulled the wire's around. 👍
Where you working by the dump?
West of there
I missed this one. I prefer to watch the ones when you move them over the highway which we haven't seen or didn't see this year. much more exciting.
Yeah I missed out on that one because I was gone at school
I'm glad you passed all your subjects, Kylidge!
Welcome back to ranching for the summer
Greetings From Poland✌️
Hi from Australia.. Always Amazed by the different landscapes over there.....😊 Stay safe...
Thanks for tuning in!
Hello! Nice scenery! Greetings from Portugal.
Good afternoon, Kylidge and Billy. That cultivator was doing a fine job. 👍
Your channel just came through my UA-cam news, I'm guessing from this video your somewhere in Canada?
First guys in the field up there but not here, my neighbors were breaking ground and so is my brother down southern sask...hopefully we'll see you this summer
Yes indeed we’ll bump into each other at some pointt
Alberta appears to be a lot drier than where you come from? I can understand why he called it "Albertastan." Your friend appears fun to be around.
It’s usually a little more moist than home in this part of Alta. But everywhere’s kind of droughty as of late. Not much snow throughout the winter
That’s a nice big fendt tractor he has there👍🤙
ya tractor nice, but machine is trash lol buy a horsch or lemken
@@bartoski-agwhy spend over 100k on a Horsch when a proper operator can do the same job with a $500 machine, I own this cultivator with no finance wouldn’t own a Horsch without finance
Guys have been seeding wheat up here in northern Alberta since the 6th. Crazy dry up here. Hope we get a good drink soon.
Had a pretty good drone pilot there lol
Yup. Thanks for the fun day bud.
Big day tilling up all the ditch weed
@@danielmcmunn4784 Hey Daniel. How’s it going?
@kyfarmerman really well! Gearing up for finals of course, my schedule puts them all pretty late this year. How did Vermillion treat you?
@@danielmcmunn4784 may need to grow some ditch weed to make some real profit this year
Good Monday evening Kylidge! Some disking is happening here. No planting yet in southeast Iowa. Soil temperatures are in the mid to upper 40’s fahrenheit. We might be in little short on moisture in the ground but it’s not bad! Glad to see you sharing again! Mark in southeast Iowa.
That's the main thing that prevent me from buying one of those calf catchers for a quad or utv... snow and mud might be an anchor. At least it seems like those tires are bigger on it should help a lot to float.
Happy Easter kylidge and family. The calf catcher is neat. I've nearly knocked myself out with one of those post pounders. They are good but not as good as the tractor mounted post driver. 👍
Happy Easter McNally family...and welcome to calving season
Always busy on the Mcnally ranch. It sounded like there were some issues with calving and giving birth to twins. I hope it all panned out well in the end. I hope you enjoyed your Easter tea at 5.15 pm. Safe travel back to Alberta, and good luck with your exams. I'm looking forward to seeing another video in about 19 days.
Thanks!
We’ve got a similar calf catcher, but ours has a swivel on the front tire so it follows around nicely. Been life changing for safety and moving pairs around our operation.
Good day kylidge
Hey!
Tis the season!! We're in a big gap.. last one was the 30th.. UHG
