Have you heard the Good News! God created everything in this world from the stars and planets in space to all life here on Earth. He created us to be His chosen people, to love, praise, and have a relationship with Him! The world was perfect then and everything lived together in harmony, until Satan (the enemy of God) came in and messed everything up by causing sin to enter the world through Adam and Eve. God loves us very much and wants us to be with Him. However, God is perfect and cannot be in the presence of sinners as it says in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God decided he would create a way for us to be with Him again by sending us His only Son, Jesus. Jesus came to the Earth, leading a perfect and blameless life, preaching the good news of salvation and showing us how we should live. He was later crucified, being obedient in love to God's great plan, even though He did no wrong. He became the ultimate sacrifice for us, taking upon Himself all the sins of humanity from all time as well as the rightful punishment we deserved for our wrongdoing because He loves us. Thankfully, it didn't end there! Three days later, by the almighty power of God, Jesus rose from the grave in glory, and ascended into heaven a little while later. He did this so we could have a hope that would never fade and forgiveness from our sins. This allows us the ability to receive eternal life in Heaven for all who believe in His awesome sacrifice opposed to suffering in Hell. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." If anyone first accepts that they are a sinner, believes in Jesus' Holy sacrifice on the Cross for us, and confesses that Jesus is Lord in their heart, they will be saved. No matter what is going on in your life, God is there and will help you if you come to Him. God loves you more than you could ever imagine and will always provide according to what He knows you need.
