Ottawa Bible Church is located in Ottawa, Kansas. Our vision is to "Live Sent" as those commissioned with the Gospel; our ultimate goal is to make, mature, and multiply disciples for Jesus. We pray that you would be blessed as you search our content, specifically our various preaching series. Last, our services are at 9 and 11 am on Sundays, with a catered breakfast in-between each week. More about us can be found at ottawabiblechurch.com.

God allows suffering to refine us...remove impurities...to make us more pure...each generation further from Adam and Eve, we are more broken... We have more crap added to our lives from the evil one and those that are misled. In just the generations I have seen... We have gone from it is a disgrace to have a baby out of wedlock to its an every day occurance...And that's just one thing I have seen. For a time in my life i began to think it was no big deal too. But it is... It is because in Gods instructions for a good life he tells us to abstain from fornication. So it is still the wrong thing to do but so many people don't see that anymore. My own children don't see it that way because I didn't teach them that. I was misled and mistaken. So now my children are less knowledgeable on that subject than I am. I have had to learn some hard lessons. Suffering is involved. I will avoid making those mistakes again and I will tell others my experience and hopefully they will not repeat my errors. Had I never suffered, would I be trying to keep others from that pain? Would I be so adamant in my belief? Would I be as convincing?
