Let's not pretend like cats are all perfectly innocent angels, there's plenty of asshole cats.

Same here with my 8, all of them rescues. I'm retired so I'm with them most days all the time. Their love is pure, unconditional. All they ask is to be fed, their litter box kept clean (we have Robot litter boxes so clean litter 24/7) and, most importantly, loved. We lost our oldest cat a month ago. He suffered a massive stroke and had to be PTS by our kind vets. We stayed with him throughout, told him how much we loved him as he slipped away peacefully. There was no hope of recovery, the stroke was so bad. He was 19 years old and he is missed.

@Pythonaria I'm so greatly sorry for your loss. Please never take your pets to. Pet smart. They helped kill a perfectly healthy cat who was only 5 years old of ours. We sued them, but does not bring Cubbie back. I feed 8 cats outside every nite, I never miss I nite. Started out with just one, haha now I'm up to 8. They depend on me and I'm thinking of sending them a bill for 2 years worth of steak, fish, chicken and dry and wet food 😋 I will not allow any animal to go hungry if we can help it. They get 8 big bowls every nite, and they are cleaned by morning. I was in the hospital the month of April, my wife took care of them outside. You keep doing what you do, GOD she's your kindness.😇😇😇

@@user-bi9fo3sx6l I'm in the UK. We have Pets at Home here which, I think is the British equivalent of Petsmart. They do have in-store vets but I wouldn't use them. I've been with the same vets for 24 years, a small practice with excellent vets. Benji, who we lost recently was half-Bengal. He and his brother were given to me by a work colleague as kittens. We lost Harley last November. He went to Rainbow Bridge in typical Harley fashion. It was as if he said to the Reaper "You can wait. I'm having my dinner first", ate his dinner, washed his face then curled up in one of his favourite spots under the radiator - and never woke up again. We knew he wasn't going to live long as he'd had some major health problems which he had veterinary treatment for and was doing quite well but his age was against him. Benji was really sudden. He was in my adult son's bedroom sitting on his lap purring. He jumped down and that was it - he took a massive stroke. He went into seizure after seizure and they were violent. We do have a 24 hour vet but they don't have a good reputation and their charges are ridiculous - over £300 _before_ they see the cat plus whatever they add on. In any case, we would not have been able to get him there because of the seizures. His limbs were rigid and there's no way he would have been able to go in the cat carrier. Vets - and this applies to all of them except farm vets, no longer do house calls. All we could do was basic First Aid. Put him on the floor and surround him with pillows so he wouldn't hurt himself while having the seizures. We sat up with him all night and the seizures subsided by 4am, enabling me to get a couple of hours sleep before ringing the vet in the morning then driving us there. Our vets were so kind and gentle with Benji. We held him and told him how much we loved him but he needed to go to his brother and their best friend who was waiting for him. They are both missed. They were characters who loved to cat-chat with us, telling us about their day and asking us about ours. The house is too quiet without them and it's taking a lot of getting used to even though we have 8 lovely cats. We are blessed to have these lovely cats and I can never understand anyone who would be cruel to a cat or any other animal.
