just came by the pov of the driver he tried only not long enough. ua-cam.com/video/Jj05bvFC1IQ/v-deo.html looking longer at the onboard it was indeed a lock of the brakes not an ebrake...

i drive an awd too, i like to drift. i saw the pov video. if he didn't countersteerd that early and put a full gas, im a 100% sure he would came out of that corner.

You can see very clear that the tires had no grip already at this low speed, if he would step on Gas he most probably would shoot the car sideways in the trees which would damage the car much more.

@@WolfgangWimmer i know how to drift a 4wd car, and im sure i could save it. If a 4wd slips, you should slip it right. When you start to slide, you still have grip, just not enough. So in this case, if he steerd IN corner, and gave it gas, then countersteered on the exit, he would be just fine. At some point, you are right. His movements were right, but he is not sitting in an RWD, but the gr yaris is AWD And yes, its better to crash with the front.
