I'm a drummer and composer in the New York City area! Recently I completed a tour with the Broadway tour of Aladdin. I'm now teaching lessons to all who are interested to study with me! Also have been transcribing lots of jazz drumming solos and hopefully anyone wanting to learn some of the jazz language will get some value from my transcription work! In this mini lesson I'm using the syncopation book to work on playing alternating strokes between my Right Hand and my Right foot. The catch is the Right foot is on the downbeat and the Right hand is on the off beat! Then I use syncopation book to play melodies on the snare drum! Hope you like it! I don’t have the photos option 😭 my google photos storage is full, i don’t even use google photos, whenever i take a pic on my phone it goes into my gallery and google photos but i don’t want it in google photos. now my google account storage is full and i’m not getting any emails cuz of that

@@ClansmanK Mingus is hard but if you find Katz that have listened to his music then you should be in the groove. Hardest part for me was learning to play that fast 12/8 vibe
