ive been getting back into this game a bit. they took out legacy controls which made my friend very unhappy lol. i like the challenge of the default controls tho. it sucks they started going full price with paid dlcs when it still doesnt even feel feature complete to me. grabs seem to be gone from experimental settings too. other than that great game tho...

i like session better than any other skate sims on the market, but i personally prefer the FUN of tony hawk games. if i want to spend all day eating shit ill go out in meat-space and attempt tricks i cant land in real life down rails. some of the vr ones are really fun too, but they arent as fancy as session.

Pressing left or right on the D-Pad will change the perspective such that it'll be easier to get on a ledge from backside/frontside. But you did good! Getting better each time.

If you click your left stick you'll be able to see your mission objectives without having to go into the menu. The game doesn't do a good job of communicating that.

Definitely a whole nother world from the old Tony Hawk games lol

Hey, Jason, when you press the Options button on your controller you will see in the menu the entry "Skate Guide". There you will find "Trick lists" which shows you how everything is done.

360 hardflip - bend down earlier and get more rotation on the scoop and you’ve got it it takes more than skater xl to get tricks in this game makes the grind more rewarding. Every camera shot you went into is just the replay editor.

lateflips, caspers primos and darkslides can all be turned on in the settings. either gameplay settings or in experimental settings :)
