Why doesn’t the Cutco Santoku have the indentations on the side of the v Blade to help food not to stick to the knife?

Cutco knives are junk! They are cheaply made 440a stamped knifes. They can afford to replace these for a lifetime and sharpen because you just purchased a set worth $100 bucks for $2000. You are a fool if you fall for this! Buy quality forged knifes like zwilling or wusthof.

I have had two Cutco paring knives for well over 30 years. Other knives have come and gone and these are still going strong. I had handles come loose on ultra-sharp Japanese knives, you cannot just drop them in a sink or the dishwasher. The edges chip they are over hard. German knives are very heavy but dont hold an edge for long. You can carve a squash with them, unlike Japanese knives that cannot be twisted in dense vegetables or bone. These Cutco knives last forever and bridge the gap between sharp Japanese knives and European knives.

@@MrAtsyhere Not sure what brands of Japanese or German knives you have owned but if you are happy with Cutco great! If you are looking for way better quality and a cheaper price try Zwilling or wusthof or shun just to name a few. They will hold an edge far longer built with better materials and perform way better than Cutco.

Iodized salt instead of kosher salt so he’s gonna lose about 90% of that seasoning when cooked. Barely any heat in the pan and no oil so the butter is gonna burn pretty quick, minced garlic instead of whole cloves to Infuse with the butter/basting technique so the garlic with burn and to top it all off the steaks are piping hot when sliced so it’s gonna dry out fast.
