Even though this from 2015 this peter built was made the same year that I was born in 1981 this truck would be 41 years old today in 2022 if this guy still has it
Your right. Not a 359. There is a unibilt sleeper, and the mirrors would be on the doors. Not to mention the air cleaners were mounted differently on a 359
Unfortunately their not for sale, I've been wanting to buy that black one for years , this 80 yr old man won't sell shit, and his SOB son would rather see them rott, it's a sad situation
Nice GTA! One with ttops, my favorite! Noticed the 4th gen spoiler, was always curious how it would look on a thirdgen bird and honestly it dont look to bad on it! Also I see you replaced the radio hub steering wheel with the more traditional formula leather wrapped steering one with the GTA horn button cover. That was something I was going to do on my GTA but I never around in doing it. Boy do I need another 3rd gen!
Hi thanks for the comment, well I bought it like that from a guy who put the 4th gen spoiler but it's ok but going change it back to the original spoiler it came out with, next week I'm putting new carpet and new door panels, but really love these 3rd gen Trans Ams I have two and had one in highschool an 86 Trans Am but got stolen, really like yours also really beautiful car
@@Anthony-qb2gr that's great to hear you still putting some work into your ride. I still wish I kept my GTA but had to sell it over 10 years ago due to the recession that ended costing my job and I was in the middle of doing some restoration work to it, like replacing the spoiler and the ttop weather stripping. Other then that, if you have seen my videos (despite the degraded video quality), the car was near to perfect and I wanted to keep it that way. These cars are now becoming more valuable as time goes on. So enjoy every minute of it because it's a pure passion for us gear heads!
@@carrsllccarrillo6507 Sorry to hear you had sell your car due to hard times I can bet that was really tough to do, I know that feeling like when they stole my first one never got over it, they stole it in 94 and 2007 got the black one 92, then got the GTA in January this year, gonna fully restore the GTA, ya once you have one of these cars you fall in love with them and they are becoming classics like you said, you have to get another one don't give up
One day I will own and drive one of these as a daily. Then I will die a happy man. But it is a Trans Am and not a GTA. Appreciate the upload, hope this car remains well taken care of. It looks to be in very good shape despite its age, thanks for putting this on the internet.
Hey thanks Ryan, ya put a new top on it like 4 months ago looks a lot better, ya it's not a GTA just a Trans Am, hope you find one one day their still out there just got to keep your eyes open
Be nice to by em fix em up and start like a small little company selling them hire a couple dudes on to do work on semis so like a little mechanic shop and be selling trucks
@@mlwiggy Believe me I got it too, but the owner is a 80 yr old man who's had this trucking business since 1955 and he won't sell shit, I've begged him to sell me one but doesn't budge, it's sad that he'd rather see them rott than to sell,
I thought Freightliner went to flush mount bottom right door handles in '73 and a new dash layout? This looks like a '72. Whatever. She's perfect for what I haul. Seacans dumps and tankers.
Look at that chrome still there when the trucks are rotting
I forgot about this song😢

@@Anthony-qb2gr this song makes me wanna cry

I would like to see these trucks in person. Where and who can I talk to about the location of the yard.

Both of you may be wrong, look at the mirror mounts, the side glass, and door handles, it might just be a 389.
