First 535i F10 In The World W/ The Aerospace Components SBK (Install) & Unveiling The Drag Pack!
What’s up everyone, in this video we are installing a small brake kit from Aerospace Components. I am the first F10 535i in the world with this kit, so the install was a bit of a learning process but pretty straight forward. If and when, I needed any assistance I would call over to Aerospace Components, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. I also finally unveil the Drag Pack I bought a few months ago.

i turned mine over. I’m 2011 528i. The back is solid aluminum.
@@Bcharmour the 528i Pre-LCI may be in a different position. If you call the BMW dealer and you speak to the parts department they can give you a diagram of where it is
Red button looks shockingly bad! Doesn’t fit the look of the car and just looks plain stupid. Bad decision

@ the 2023 came with the Gen 3 right? I’m not sure man I feel like Gen 2 B58 is tried and true. 2020 you may get lucky and not even have to unlock ECU… as for aesthetics there’s something about the 2020 that’s still gives it an F series vibe whereas with the new facelift it feels like you’re getting away from that… it’s all gonna come down to preference at the end of the day, man. But whichever one you choose, it’s gonna be a solid fun car.

I have an m850i i left the arm pieces still on with the arms dangling you think if i take it off the check engine light will go off ? Or is it too late that it already turned on ?
@@neno3340 I wouldn’t know to be exact but I’d take them off and run the car a bit to see if it works itself out.

What scanner do you advise to use to clear the engine light cause i have the obd2 blue driver one and once i clear it it pops up again

My god, When I ordered it for replacement I thought It would be easy, like changing the watch strap (hold the springs on one side and push the other side in the slot first) 😂😂

If you do get a check engine light, how do you remove it? I saw your comment responding to someone saying you need a bimmerlink? If you can kinda go into depth or make a video that would be great.
@@MohA-ef8yy I use a BM3 WiFi adapter and BimmerLink if you don’t have a tuning software. With BimmerLink go into permanent and then erase codes.
Cel.(Check engine light) could mean a lot of other things Bro, did u look up the code meaning and the position side where the error is coming from it tells u that? to delete the code plug in your Obd2 scanner, and whatever code app ur using it will give u the option to delete it...

What I can tell you is that I’m currently at E40 and now facing another problem… Luckily, I got my issues fixed with my M3 40 and my tuner is back from his vacation on Thursday so come Thursday we should get more updates as to what can be the actual cause of the problem! Hey, what’s that 2nd hose towards the top of cover ? The one you show after the cap… is that required ? Have a N55 with the squeal.. I’m hoping this can make it a bit less noticeable. Thanks
So as per the instructions of Ross Racing, I believe they just drop down and vent to the bottom of the pan. I personally was not fond of the idea because it does leak out and smell a lot. So I got a Motion Racewerks catch can and had the tech route it the catch can. I had asked Ross Racing about a catch can for my car and he didn’t have one so I had to go with Motion. But Motions can is great.

Wait did you figure this out. Or is this one of those Ali express one that you move over the old chip from the current key.
I actually came across the Ali express one and tested it with that one. I followed instructions and the key was horrible with the range and very finicky. After some trial and errors I managed to figure out the proper way to modify the keys to work exactly like factory.
