Definitely lots of hidden details shown here! The only ones I didn’t know about was the Dolphin reference and the big Guay. It’s amazing how a 24+ year old game has so many secrets and there are definitely many more hidden details that would be awesome to see if you were to make a part 2 video one day. Subbed!

Considering the fact the deadhand has multiple hands and is in a room where the wall looks like it's full of dead bodies I always assumed that that room was used to discard of executed prisoners. (Or even just a good chunk of people tossed in there and left to die). The tormented souls created in all this eventually possessed those bodies after they kinda...decayed together. Leading to the monstrosity we see.

One thing that I think is worth pointing out is the symbol of the gorons/fire medallion is on the spot where you use Dins fire. This is probably because that's how you used that fire magic at some point in development, but could imply gorons knew how to get in, or at least Darunia. Also if you see the dead hand room on N64, it's like ALL bones. Wall to wall bone. Insane haha

The Shadow Temple has personally been one of my favorite temple (other than the Forest Temple). It’s always eluded to me as to WHAT this “Bloody History” of the Royal Family is. (There’s so much to speculate.) But overall, this Temple definitely has a place in my heart, not only for being downright creepy, but also filled a bunch of lore that we still, kinda don’t know to this day.

Wow, it would suck if the re-deads remembered their old lives. Imagine being trapped for dozens of years in this place.
