Just started my CM degree! I’ve been in the field for 5+ years as a Utility Laborer for Natural Gas Pipeline and Sanitary, Water, Reclaimed Water. Want to see the front side of the business! Thanks for this series!
Loved your tutorial/presentation. Will definitely be keeping up with your videos, thank you!!
Are these videos uploaded in order? Thanks
Brilliant execution!
Is this relevant to the state of Florida?
I'm just starting a class somewhere else. Might you have information on NCCER general carpentry 6th edition? Carpentry Safety.?
Seems nice and detailed presentation! Can you provide an e-copy to follow up on my own ?
When will you be making more videos? I love these, great educational videos
I need module 8!
Bill Ryan, I'm starting from oldest video and going to study with all of them. Do you have a PayPal or a way to donate to channel. And would you ever consider doing a math book like PPM carpentry, maybe just your choice problems from it. Thanks, and really glad I found your channel.
Yes this seems like a unique series you can’t get anywhere else on UA-cam
Good content but too much unwanted noise
Hi, thanks for posting How can I obtain this book? Please attach link to book purchase
Appreciate it man👍 thanks you
Nice presentation, but can not hear it when used on Zoom from chromebook
where can I read this book you are referencing ?
www.amazon.com/Carpentry-Floyd-Vogt/dp/1133607365/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2JSMLBCQLBW71&keywords=carpentry+floyd+vogt&qid=1664285068&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjY4IiwicXNhIjoiMS44MyIsInFzcCI6IjEuNTcifQ%3D%3D&s=books&sprefix=Vogt+Carpe%2Cstripbooks%2C278&sr=1-3
Thank you for the videos. I have been watching them and learning! One thing that no matter how I calculate is the window opening of 5.7’ while min opening hight is 20” and min opening width is 24”! I wish you or someone would explain the math. Thank you.
Hi Nahid, You know, I struggled with this as well for a while. Then I went back to the code book for an interpretation. It still wasn't clear. Here is what I have learned and applied to this "math" inconsistency. You are correct- when you multiply 20" minimum height(1.667 or 1"-8" ft) and 24" minimum width (2-0" ft) you get 3.33 sq ft, far less than the 5.7 sq ft code requires for openable space. So think of it this way instead: If you want t 24" (2"-0") min. height for your egress window you will need to make up the difference with a width of 2'-10 1/2" (34.5") width to gain your 5.7 sqft of openable space. Conversely, If you had a 20" (1-8") min. width you will need to make that up with a height of 3'-5" (41") to gain the 5.7sqft required. Code simply states that you cannot be narrower than 20" in width or shorter than 24" for a window used for egress. I hope this helps. BR
@@billryan6030 thank you for the great explanation.

Hey there. I appreciated the walk through. I'm just about to build a house in a Asian country and many things are different, but I believe that quality and cost control is going to be my main focus. If you have any tips for where a beginner should start, that would be great. Thanks again.
