In today's video, I am showing you guys my current setup of my Milwaukee packout system. I have other tools here and there they just didn't all fit in these boxes so I'm definitely going to be upgrading and getting the 3 drawer system next. Any questions on the tools or on the system itself feel free to comment them below
1st gen Tundra power steering pump
Переглядів 4914 місяці тому
I was having some new noises with the Tundra and wasn't sure what it was, started off thinking it was the tranny or maybe the whole steering rack but it ended up being my power steering pump. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have and hopefully if you had the same noises it can be the same job of just simply swapping out the pump.

Mounting my recovery gear on my RCI Bed Rack
I love this thing bro 😮💨😮💨
I appreciate it 🤙🤙, if it was a 4x4 it would’ve been long traveled already 🤣
Looks killer. What window rainnguards do you have?
Like that!!! So proud of you!
What kind of headlights are those??
They’re just some Amazon/eBay ones (smoked)
Does it have a pass through when it's plugged into cigarette lighter. Meaning if it goes dead is will it work plugged into cigarette lighter or it only charges. Also, would have been nice to see a tire fully pumped from empty. To see how much battery is used. Like after a puncture repair.
I’ll run these tests and get back to you on that and pin the results
Long live the TWOONDRA!!!! Cuz no 4x4 like my 4runner hence, the 2runner!
And the tundras have the v8s!!!!, the early 4Runners do too but the tundra looks better imo 😅, can’t go wrong with any Toyota vehicle though
I have a 2003 sr5 v6 stock I will put I’m 14 will be 15 on December 31st When I get my license hopefully at 16 I will put Anzo USA Tail lights on
Dam your set up for being so young, hopefully I can help with maintenance, inspiration and more, just let me know of any questions you might have
I have an 03 Tundra 4x4 with mild upgrades, winch bumper2” lift TRD stuff. Cap with Windoors, ARB rear locker. Camped w/ it, drove it all over Cali. Drove it in winter (snow) mud, nothing crazy. Drove it to Florida no issues just gen maint. Used Factory stuff on crucial parts coz they last (LBJ) etc. 340k mi. Love these 1st Gen Tundra. V8, more room, current Tacoma’s almost as big. Its your money, you do you. Enjoy the outdoors.
You got another 300,000 miles easily, congrats on your build it sounds like it likes to party, I’ll try to keep updates on where I take her and what I do with her, God bless ✌️
Very nice build and it looks super clean. You must be out in the west coast 👍
yeap, out in cali, nice because no rust, but its hard to find first gen tundras with a 4x4 a lot of the trucks for sale are only 2 wheel 🤧
ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
02:47 these dark filmed headlights no allowed in Europa
no se deben de usar quad en EEUU tampoco pero me gustan como se miran so 🤣
Trd pro and sr5 badges.... talk about identity issues 😅
the trd badge doesn't make it a 3rd pro 🤣
Looking good. Don't let the haters get to you. You can do a lot with a 2wd truck. For decades 2wd trucks were used by many, including in pretty rough conditions. A 16 inch wheel/tire and some lower air pressures can get you to many places, and recovery ramps can assist on getting you out. And don't forget a come along. Know your limits and when to turn around. I do have a 2002 TRD 4x4, but I rarely use the 4wd.
Appreciate it thanks for watching👍👍
Donde compraste el Bumper ?
la compania se llama coastal offroad
What rain guards do you have in the windows
Weather tech in channel
All I can see is your back and your head. I know you tried, but that was pretty useless.
Dude- this is a sick gen 1 build. Love the attitude about the 2wd drive- make it work with what you have! You'll bump up to a 4x4 in no time
appreciate that thank you, looking on marketplace none stop 🤣
What fender flares are those?
stock, they are half chrome and half grey just spray painted black
Love your Tundra!
thank you 🙏
Building a 2wd to look like a 4x4 is so pointless.
still works 🤷♂️
Where did you get the headlights
just off amazon or they also have them on eBay
What front bumper is that and tire and wheel setup? Also what rear lift if any you went with?
coastal off-road bumper, tires are falken wild peak at3ws in a 285/70/17 with method 305 wheels, I have just an eibach 1 inch shock paired with deaver add a leaves for 2 1/2 inches of lift
Oh wow, what a beauty! Well done! She might as well be a national treasure now among them turbocharged four bangers.
thank you, haha there's definitely better lookin first gen tundra overland rigs out there
Nice bro! I have a 2003 Nissan Xterra Supercharged. I put that Coastal Offroad bumper on it and TBH, its insane! I welded it myself and it was my first ever welding project. It looks sooooo good! Did you powder coat it? I used spray on bedliner for mine. I'm running the Faulken Wildpeak AT4s that just came out. Great tires.
I just spray painted it with rustoluem 2x Matt black, I was gonna do powder coat but too expensive and the bedliner I didn't think about till after, Im also excited to try the at4s, the at3s so far have been great, good traction, quite, and somewhat aggressive
friggin sweet!! I would love to have a rig like that.
thank you, just takes time little by little and you really don't need the top of the line suspension and etc just something to get you out and see what you need vs what you want
When you sink thousands into modding a 2wd truck just to lose out to a stock 4wd.
Big facts, currently on the lookout for the v8 4x4 ac tundras didn’t know much about mods and importance of 4x4 so this was a big learning and costly mistake 😂
What’s up dude dope build question where did you get your headlight assembly from been looking for one for my 05 SR5 access cab V8
I’m not sure I understand your question, but I have the smoked out headlights through eBay and the led light is from Amazon by a company called Novsight
Sean, I feel your pain! I have the same truck as you and can’t find replacement headlights. Nothing for access cabs!!
Do you have links to your mods? I love this build and I’m about to pick up a first gen and I wanna get the same bumper, bed rack and tent you have!
Thanks man would love to see more first gen’s out there Bumper: www.coastaloffroad.com/product-page/1st-gen-tundra-high-clearance-front-bumper-kit/ Rack: rcimetalworks.com/product/universal-bed-rack/ Tent: cascadiatents.com/collections/tents/products/pioneer-series?variant=41188498931844 I couldn’t find my exact rtt but it’s a close second
Sick truck. I know you have a 2WD, but maybe consider SAS'ing your truck to make it 4x4? Just an idea. It's a lot of work, but dude check into it. Nice truck again.
Defiantly on the lookout for a 4x4 ac thought about sas but that seems like too much work and I want the power and sound of a v8 🤣
"V6, 2WD" Mistakes were made
BIG mistakes were made, even bigger mistakes when I started watching videos about off-roading and overloading
Is that a move front bumper?
Coastal off-road
why not add links to the mods? That's why we are here. lol

Whats your wheel and tire setup man? 🔥
I’m running method 305s in a 17x9 and falken wild peak at3ws in a 285/70/17 so basically running 33s with a ksp 1.25 wheel spacer for a little poke
how much you going to want for your rims?
Want to sell the whole truck not just the wheels
Is that the addicted bumper? It looks great
Nope its the coastal off-road bumper-- thank you
Sick build yo !
Lurkkkkk thanks bro might have a surprise in the works
🔥
I have the V8 4wd SR5. This is pretty much my dream build for it. I can’t wait until I can start modding and upgrading it. only downside is it would be hard to do a blackout with it, because it is that weird silvery almost beige color that they had at the time. But either way, love the truck, man!
You have the dream drivetrain😢, I’m really thinking about selling this truck and getting a white v8 4x4 but I just fell in love with this truck
Sweet tundra🫡
Gotta represent that first gen love ✌️
Beast
Thank you ✌️
1st gen tundras are some of the best trucks imo! I’ve been building & restoring my 02’ with new components over the past few years. -You have a nice truck build
They really are, if you have Instagram add me same as my UA-cam channel so I can see your build progress, eventually I want to get this exact truck just w/the v8 engine and the 4x4 drivetrain and plan on keeping that thing for life if it goes out just gonna buy a new engine 🤣
@@01Trdtundra absolutely bro!🍻
Where do u buy ur front bumper?
Coastal Offroad
What brand is your front bumper?
Coastal off-road, its the high clearance w/grill tubing
So what did you do to your truck to increase the quality and volume of sound.?
added 2: 8-inch subs w/an amp and an aftermarket stereo for more output
Hell yeah I got my 1st gen with 2 12 inch and nice door speakers, with a kenwood touch screen apple CarPlay android auto
For securing the tailgate area , I recommend you to construct a hard mesh lifting gate that hinges to your truck bed rack like a camper shell lifting door where you can see through the mesh , and as the same time , you can also secure all your belonging in the bed of your pickup . Yet , it looks cool too depends on the quality of material and design of your DYI . Design so that it looks like part of your roof tent rack . Think of it when you need to go somewhere to get supplies , anything valuable in the back of your pickup is prone to theft .
I’ll have to give that some thought it sounds like a really good idea, thanks 🙌✌️
can you link the front bumper please
www.coastaloffroad.com/product-page/1st-gen-tundra-high-clearance-front-bumper-kit/
Lookin good homie 🤘
Thank you ✌️
Not to bash on your build at all but if I were you I’d consider looking into a 4WD version of the same truck. Other than that everything you’ve done is legit. It’s a nice truck. Just gotta be careful when the rainy season comes around and you’re out in the woods. Two wheel drive is a headache when you get stuck. Sometimes a winch isn’t enough. Glad to see someone with a bible in their truck! Cheers man
Thanks bro I know 4x4 is the way but for now until I get my career setup I have to stay with this 2wd 😔
@@01Trdtundra god bless man, you’ll get there 🙌🏽
@@edgarsanchez1004 God bless brother
@@01Trdtundra my guess is that this is a prerunner style build and those are typically 2wd. Nice job building this out 👊😎👍
A rear locker and a competent driver will go most places a 4x4 will.
Nice rig big guy Enjoyed the walk around
Thank you ✌️
Your truck is looking really nice! I have done just about the same build on my 04.
Gotta rep the first gen 🔥
