This 8 year old got a folding Firebox Stove, Light My Fire ferro rod and striker for Christmas, and using her homemade jute/wax starter thingy she got her fire going on this cold windy February afternoon. No time for hot chocolate today. Sister joins in at the end.

We love to hit our local trails and practice one section over and over and improve our skills and jumping!! this was one such afternoon in beautiful PEI... kids ages 2, 4, 7, 8, 9.

we headed out to the woods to enjoy the winter with hot chocolate and a snack. these are the some of the best memory making times. life is short. enjoy every moment.

Looking for animal tracks in the winter is such a fun activity for the whole family! Join us at our local woods as we hunt for animal tracks, play on the ice, sled, forage and make a fire.

An afternoon of family fun at Bonshaw Provincial Park in PEI with our 5 little shredders. Ages 9 and down. Uphill and down, bridges, some creek jumping, checking out a new trail, and snacks.

Practicing on a homemade ramp can allow kids to build up their jumping skills slowly, consistently and is a lot of fun!

Wanting a change from our normal mountain bike trails, we tried out the Downhill trails at our local ski park with our 6, 7, and 8 year old kids. It was much steeper than the video makes it seem! There were some spills, fears were met and conquered, and loads of smiles. A great day in our books! Camera was on the helmet of the 7 year old.
