Isaiah 9:6-7 Main Point: A person can only give what they have received. Peaceful People are first Peace-filled People. Thieves of Peace: 1. Trusting yourself rather than trusting God. 2. Fearing circumstances rather than fixing your hope on God. 3. Concealing your guild rather than confessing your sins. 4. Seeking to settle the war outside you before resolving the conflict inside you.

Luke 1:26-45 The birth of Christ reminds us of the hope found in God's Word. (vv. 26-33) The birth of Christ reminds us of the hope found in God's plan. (vv. 38-45)

Main Point: Even when our circumstances change, God remains the same. 1. God still reigns in truth. 2. God still rules in glory. 3. God still rules in justice. 4. God still rules in power. 5. God still rules in authority. 6. God still rules with mercy.

Key Thought: What you perceive today cannot not rob the Christian of what God has promised for tomorrow. Main Point: Even though injustice may rise, God still rains. Our hope is not in what today holds but in the One who holds us each day.
