So i can see your becoming more accustomed with the game, Its great! maybe a few more tips that might help with your playthrough. 1. Broken weapons in your inventory are literally trash, they have no value, cost a lot to repair, its better to drop the dead weight, 2. The cash register "Ding" sound is you getting EX after getting a kill. 3. There a ton of side quests in the game, you get some XP for kills, but more for completed quests, be sure to talk with everyone, you never know if they might have a quest for you. 4. Some of the best side quest are found with random exploring, the game rewards you for this. 5. if your short on caps and need to make money, sell the ammo for the guns you don't use or don't own, its a nice way to make good caps for stims ot radaway. 6. The only two chems you really need are stim packs and radaway, maybe radX, if your ever in a heady radiated zone, most of the other chems i sell for caps.

Well played on the over ride puzzle, you figured it out so fast! I had to look at a guide to figure it out. Pluss i did a lot of awful thinks for Betty that i totally regretted

I remember being 13 years pld playing this game for the first time and being absolutrly disgusted by being able to sleep on a crusty wasteland mattress without contracting diseases. Gross

Just a few tips about the older fallout games, the amount of skill point you have in a skill makes it better, therefore the more points you have in small guns, for example, will increases the accuracy of the gun, the reason your bullets don't go towards the cross hairs is because your skill is too low. some skill upgrade in stages of 0, 25, 50, 75, 100. at 100 skill in small guns, big guns and energy weapons your shots will be the most accurate. If your arm is crippled, it can also effect your accuracy. Its is a good idea to sell, drop weapons you dont have ammo for, its good to sometimes rely of melee weapons as they need no ammo. Normally just having one melee weapon as a backup is prudent. extra weapons' and outfits you never use is just dead weight. Big guns, such as, rocket launchers, miniguns, flamers, and the fat man do the most damage, however weighs the most, consider carefully before you pick on up and keep it. You can thow grenades' and some other explosives with VATs. It is sometimes a good idea to lay down mines if you know a enemy will charge you...the mine is not your friend so dont forget where you put it. In the pip boy, if you tag a quest the direction to complete the quest will appear on the map, sometimes you will need to head underground and it can be a bit difficult following the map markers. Active map markers also appear in the compass to help guide you. As someone who likes to hoard i know it can be painful to sell off extra gear, however sim-packs and ammo is critical in willing combat, even tho it is hard not to hoard, trading for sim-packs and ammo is well worth it, Before going on a new quest it is prudent to restock each time you go out. At the fount of settlement there are caravans that make there rounds who can trade in different good, if Megaton is out of caps, it is a good idea to just check the fount of a seterment to see if you can trade. Hope it helps.

I like your playthrough, however, you may want to consider editing you videos to cut out commercials and other moments of dead time.

Fallout 3 is great, and I feel like it's often overlooked, despite it being hugely popular when it came out. NV is still probably my fave by a slim margin, but 3 is great. I guess it's not easy to get it runnin on modern hardware, so maybe that's why it's starting to be forgotten?

Fallout 3 is probably a good place for a modern gamer to start, but if you are interested in the old ones (which feature tactical turn-based combat) it is available on GOG. GOG isn't as well known today as it should be, but it specializes in DRM-free legal copies of classic games (and some newer games). Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics are each priced at $10, but regularly go on sale for 75% off (and are currently on sale until midnight tomorrow, May 1st). GOG is operated by CD Projekt, the parent company of the studio that made Cyberpunk 2077 and the Witcher games.

It's been nice seeing people check out the games after watching the show, glad you're enjoying it so far. Not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but you may want to lock the game to 59* fps in Nvidia control panel. The game speed is tied to fps for some odd reason and it can cause issues with npc scripting among other things - same in New Vegas iirc although the performance fix mods should sort that out. It should solve one or two minor issues you've run into as well -e.g landmines being nearly impossible to pick up. *60 should work fine afaik but caused micro-stutters for me, dropping it to 59 got things running smoothly.

3 is (imo) the best starting point for new players because NV is considered better than 3. If you played NV 1st, 3 feels like a downgrade. 4 is quite busted atm with the new update so hopefully when you get to it, it's actually fixed :) enjoy!

13:11 There's around 122 known public Vaults according to the lore. out of the 122 only 17 were control Vaults, basically Vaults that work operate normally as advertised. So alot of room for future Fallout content to explore new Vaults thanks to the large number across the United States and even Canada. The earliest Vaults began on the West and then spread out so that's why you'll find Vaults with higher numbers on the East Coast like Vault 101 for example.

I love Fallout 3. It's a good start.

You should try new Vegas it’s a lot better if you like RPGs
