Me and my fellow photographers travelled 140kms to Al Qua'a Desert, the darkest "accessible" place in the UAE (Bortle 3). We spent our EID holidays under the stars. This location (looks like an abandoned construction site in the desert) was just discovered recently. You may have wondered why there's a water pool in the middle of the desert. That's why this location is a favorite for astro shooters hoping to capture some good reflections.
