Hobby photographer/videographer of urban wildlife, landscapes and warbirds
Not a vlogger, but want this to be a place of mixed content where you may see wildlife, slow motion video, time-lapse or historical planes being captured. Some may not be to your liking, so I'll say "thanks for checking the channel" as you move on to something else.
Main link will take you to my page where you can find my other sites/links to see other aspects of my hobby

Black Oystercatcher Mussel hunting
#urbanwildlife #wildlife #wildlifephotography #nature #naturephotography #slomo
Felt lucky that I was able to capture a trio (only one shown here) of Black Oystercatchers pass through looking for their fill of Mussels in the morning. The tide coming in made it 'interesting' to capture them as I was also dodging splashes, which for eagle-eyed viewers you will see I failed and ended up with a spot on the lens. Sharing the whole experience and result!

Dragonfly Hunting Perch - ever seen a dragonfly breathe?
Переглядів 2,2 тис.Місяць тому
#urbanwildlife #wildlife #wildlifephotography #nature #naturephotography #slomo With summer in full force, and the birds in the area at a minimum, it is always a great time of year to focus on dragonflies. While visiting a local wildlife sanctuary, I happened on this one Blue Dasher being consistent in a returning perch for hunting. While the wind made it very difficult to keep the frame stable...
Planes of Fame Flight Demo North American Rockwell OV 10 Bronco
Переглядів 2 тис.Місяць тому
#aviation #aviationphotography #aviationhistory #warbirds #flight Been a while since I've taken the trip up to Chino for a monthly Flight Demo, and with the last time I was able to see a Bronco at one of these events I decided to fight the 3-digits temps (110 degrees on the tarmac, 103.5 wind-chill and 95 in the shade) for the weekend to try to capture the startup. Taking up the usual 'best ang...

Someone pull prop through?
@mikearakelian6368 that was the whole presentation. They ran it up earlier in the day
かっこいい。モフモフ😮
Nice model cool sounding like real thing, excellent flying sad to see the gear collapse, 😎
@brucevennell810 I have no clue what you are talking about. Not a model, real plane, and came back unscathed Commenting on wing video?
What a machine. The cobra Shelby of the sky ! 😖
Very awesome to see that warbird fire up! I'm glad that Zeros weren't rolling in on strafing runs during that startup procedure!😉
Thankfully the war was over before it got to fly any missions, but it's a beautiful aircraft for sure. Not a raised rivet in sight. VERY smooth airframe.
Me the first time I viewed the video: "No I have not seen a dragonfly breathe" Me the second time: "ofc I have"
Insects don't have lungs. They breathe through tiny holes spread throughout their body. Oxygen directly diffuses into their tissues through those holes.
What a gorgeous little fairy friend. Sending infinite love and peaceful vibes from the creeks and woodland of Missouri.
Today a dragonfly who's just one of many that have grown around our pond, land on the tip of my finger and refuse to leave it. Lovely little critter!
What gear are you using for these?
For slow motion: Canon R5, primary lens Sigma 60-600
I find these guys quite cute
😊
Backyard miniature falcons
I appreciate the patience and time it took to capture this.
Thank you - it is a game of capturing a lot to have something small to share
BEAUTIFUL!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you
Natural helicopters❤️
I really like this.
Much appreciated
I missed this flight, but looks like a fun plane to watch.
It was an enjoyable demonstration, the pilot kept the flight tight and decently low. Other than weather causing haze, one of the better ones to watch. Hopefully they'll work with them again so you can catch a chance in the future to see it
4:28 Hearing that melancholic howling from the superpower along with the Engine's gurgling might just be ASMR material... It's POWER and BEAUTY
Too bad it never got to show what it could do in the Pacific
Such a beautiful predator 🫶🏽🪶
Lovely machine
Plane just crashed today.......
Definitely a sad day…
tako je lepo videti veliku sovu slobodnu u prirodi. ❤
This is awesome, thank you! 😊
Thanks for watching and commenting👍
Did any Bearcats ever face off against Japanese planes or were they too late for the show?
It was a bit late to the Game - it didn't see any action in WW2
Her yavru canlı annesinin yanında mutlu..😊👑👍👏🇹🇷♥️
Thats a pretty sight ❤
Beautiful
Much appreciated
Sexy as hell….😊
*This is a Brand New Restoration, based in Chino, California*
Was said to be better than the hellcat.
The Russians used these very effectively as ground attack as they were literally no match for modern fighters.
Easy prey for the zero.
❤
American engineering might.
Do you have to put some weights in the nose? My under standing was that this plane was designed around a 37mm cannon, so if you took that out and didn't replace it with any thing, it'd move the plane's center of mass backwards.
The cannon fired through the engine block and the propellor shaft, so the cannon itself I wouldn't think would be of considerable weight to compensate. I'm not sure of the specifics with this plane but it does now have me wanting to ask when I'm up there in the museum next.
PRECIOUS Anna . 💚
Hummingbirds are so dang sassy 😂
I feed them every year here, so entertaining to watch. There God littlest bird. Amen

A beauty, but no bite
So beautiful...
I went to see her to the air at Chino Airport. What a thrill , amazing!! Thank You for posting 👍
Were you at the event or just catching it outside the airport? Either way - glad you got to see Fatal Fang in the air and thanks for viewing
@@ptdphotos I was at the event, enjoyed some bbq and and listened to the guest speakers....
@pablocortes6950 glad you attended! I'm a volunteer there and always happy to see their events well attended and liked
@@ptdphotos Thnx for volunteering, keeping history alive!!
A hot rod with a big gun! Thanks yanks for keeping history roaring!
It's a very impressive Aircraft of its time. Slammin' car door access and a rear engine. Very unusual but a nice looking flying machine. However the car door configuration was also a feature shared by the early British Hawker Typhoon. Wonderful Little plane the Airacobra.👍
Just one update, this is actually the Kingcobra
Oops! Ok. Got it . King Cobra. I missed that. Darn! Darn! Thanks.😄👍
@@ptdphotos From George. I have many models of this Aircraft two scales 1/48 and three 1/32. One out of the three I'll be doing an Australian Airforce version.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️from Down Under.
Looking sharp Mrs. Virginia! 👍
One of my favorite model kits as a kid!
The Kingcobra and Airacobra were both a real beauty.
A true classic warbird. She's looking great.
Yanks Air did a great job restoring this one.
Awesome airplane. Thank you for sharing this
Thanks for watching!
Is this flight worthy ? The FAA registry shows a one-month certificate between September and October 2023. What’s going on ? Enquiring minds want to know.
yes, it is airworthy and took the skies that day and the day before. Not sure on certificate info, but it went airworthy back in 10/23 I believe and this was the museum highlighting it at an event to showcase Fatal Fang.
@@ptdphotos Ouch. Begs the question of where are the videos of the flying ?
@happyhome41 I'm just a volunteer for the museum, so not into the nitty-gritty of the workings around certs. No conspiracy, the question of flying videos you can find checking out Instagram from those that captured it mostly from their phones. The light sucked hard that day and I wasn't happy with what I captured to include it.
@@ptdphotos MUCH appreciated. Thank you !
