Cameron Carpenter is simply amazing and I love his arrangement of this great song. I hae heard him play this in concert more than once, including at Trinity Church. This my have been the night I was there!

I am always blown away when he plays the fife part with his feet! This is the only performance of this where the crowd had applauded him because of how impressive it looks. I get lucky if I don't trip over my own feet on a daily basis, I can't imagine how he's done this. As an amateur organist myself I've been looking for this arrangement online to see if I could even attempt it! Bravo Cameron!!

he makes the organ jive and live, last time I saw this it was a old recording of Reg Dixon in Blackpool. The organ has become part of him.

Great - but why the fade out during the last chord?

I've watched this many times and it gives me chills every time. At one point, the guy is playing FIVE different melodies at once. I think he's from the future.

Well.. the instrument may need a bit of medical attention and it's not exactly the best quality recording, but the fact that neither of those issues take away any of the enjoyment of this spirited, passionate and virtuoso performance is a great tribute to the organist. Wow! I love that he takes it an an appropriate tempo to allow us to enjoy the rich chromaticism of Reger's harmonies, rather than rushing at it like so many organists do. Bravo Senor Ramirez!
